Zero argument with this approach. It's by far the best way to approach fusions given life can occur and strictly in game we've seen fusions be a bit backloaded in difficulty from time to time. 

I think for most of us here who are several years in, understand resource management and have everything pretty well automated Summon Rush just ended up being sticker shock.

I think I just didn't have enough resources planned out. I had it worked out that I could get the 5 or 10 base frags from each event and skip the bigger 15 from summon rush as long as I had one top 2 finish somewhere. 

But even though I've kept up the plan, I just really didn't realize how many shards the summon rush would entail. Even with hundreds of mystery shards ready,  and a bunch of ancients,  some voids and 2 sacreds etc I still thought it would be 3500 and that seemed attainable but I'm way short for the actual number and I have no way to find an extra 1500 shards.

So my only hope is to now get two top 2 finishes but other than arena I have no idea where. It's my own fault for not being fully prepared for the chance of summon rush being that level,  I suppose.  Who knows maybe I'll pull off a surprise t2... or since I hit the ultimate chest in nightmare CB every day, I suppose i've got 2 days to hope for a sacred shard from there, lol...

I must be clear, I'm disappointed but I'm not complaining, I knew my account would struggle to compete and I figured if I don't make it well I pulled some great gear and a few great champs out of it, so my account has only improved from the trying :)

Plarium could release the point requirements before the fusion, along with the calendar. 

Otherwise, I can't really blame anyone for thinking that they keep the Summon Rush until later so they can cash in on players who are so heavily invested in the fusion, they will be willing to spend money to get the 20 fragments.

I think the fusion was very doable for a mid-game account, it's the first fusion I did 100% f2p and I saw few challenge, even though I play on mobile. But the problem with points required for anything shard-related keeps coming up, and Plarium does nothing about it.  

Summo Rush was the 3rd event to begi for Gnishak,5th for Maranix.  I didn't look back further.

Edit, I just checked Ukko, rush was the first day event.

Either that or the Champion Chase, there always seems to be an uproar about points required for the shard-pulling events. Would be easier if they just announce what the point requirements will be.

Well, last time there wasn't even a chase at all.  So yes there were a few rather dissapointed players, including me.  But that fact was evident the moment the schedule came out.  No one was waiting to see what the chase requirements would be, and the summons was fairly early.

Arrgh, my ftp account is heading towards failure. My arena II tournament is much tougher than expected, not sure why. I'm level 51 right now, might be a breakpoint to pair me up with higher level players?

I spent about 200 gems on the tournament so far and currently 3rd. 1st place is way ahead, so I have *at least* 1 person that I need to outcompete.

I'm now in Gold I, and it's getting really hard to find fights to win (remember, this was a referral account so I haven't seriously built teams, even though I have a few level 60s).

So, it's looking like I'll get stuck at 95 frags, unless the dragon tournament is unexpectedly easy.

I have the fragments now, will summon for cvc i guess.

Well, that's 100 fragments now. Will save for CvC to summon. As a beginner found it quite tough and a bit stressful at times - really helped that we got a load of extra energy from CvC maintenance compensation, Raid survey, and the Amazon Prime Drop. Think I'll just take it easy and farm food and gear over the next couple of months and let the next fusion events pass me by - plenty enough to keep me busy while playing at my own pace. :)

I have 1,000 mystery and 20 ancients. I was planning on using those for the Champion Chase beginning tomorrow.

On my ftp, I lost the arena tournament badly, in the end there were 6 people seriously competing so I just had to give up (after sinking 200 gems into tokens, arrgh). I have one more shot, which is the dragon tournament that's looking pretty soft so far. I got an unexpected energy windfall from phase 10 of the artifact challenges, might end up pulling through by the skin of my teeth.

... and somehow I managed to pull through. Got 1st in Dragon tournament with 5.5k points, now mopping up the artifact event.

And just like that I have a true ftp account with an amazing progression legendary!

Hey guys, I sadly ended up with 95 Pythion frags :'( Is anyone receiving offers to buy at least 5?

this will happen...just not sure when. Haven't heard/seen anyone buying them yet either. 

Usually will happen the day after the global finish to the event (which is always about a day later than you think for the final brackets to close down, since all the events/tourneys have a rolling start that covers about a full day)
