I agree with Grim entirely.

For this to work emerald rewards IMO need to be at least:

Rank      Emeralds upon max level

1             15

2             25

3             40

4             60 + 60 for L35

5            150 +150 L35

6            300 + 300 L40

I have deliberately suggested flattening out the rewards structure - why penalise the little guy?

Otherwise for most of us playing the guardians will be a thing of the past.

Ares

PS Please reduce the RSI aspect of doing Guardians manually by:

1) Eliminating the need to scroll down to select warrior eg make warrior boxes smaller

2) Put a hard stop to scrolling down to the bottom of your guardians (we do not need to see empty boxes).

3) Get rid of sort by afinity (does anyone use this sort?) and replacing it by a nested sort that puts all Guardian's that are at max level to bottom and sort remaining guardians by level descending

Thank you.

I use sort by affinity

to see how many of each type I have by affinity, I am a bit OCD so want 1 of each affinity per type lol

I then lock them in and use the rest for upgrading

I also used the conquest item when it was released and have suffered the almost complete loss of almost 2000 recharges and emeralds.

I am awaiting Plarium's response to Grim's question on compensation for this Plarium debarcle.

OK Plarium you made a mistake with emerald levels, did not inform us of the huge reduction when you introduced the skirmish function (and using skirmish function you are given no opportunity to see what the emerald rewards are) and as a direct consequence of which I lost all of my recharges and emeralds, which at the time totalled approx 1300.

I think it would be a good gesture to credit me with the lost emeralds please.

I'm afraid, such cases are not a subject for compensation. Thanks for understanding

It costs you nothing to compensate people for what is fundamentally a Plarium error.

Sorry Nancy but Plarium stuff up & we pay.

I am not understanding your bewildering attitude to your customers at all.

No wonder people are leaving this game in droves

You reduced the emerald rewards for leveling up guardians in a massive way - increasing the value of emeralds.

The solo skirmish was released without proper play testing - and the bugs in it caused many people to loose a very large number of emeralds and energy recharge items.  Some of us spent money to gather these items.

Is there another person that can speak to us about these issues?   If such cases as this, that rob paying members of items they purchased are not subject to compensation,  then I would like to hear this from someone from management.

Nancy is obviously not taking this seriously.

Update: 26 days since I last spent any money on this game... Total Plarium income lost $350-$400. Total extra money in my pocket $350-$400

Many players are complaining about single Guardian Auto-battle feature that can eat up thousands of Emeralds if you enable automatic energy recharge.    This is clearly a badly designed feature and several players have lost their entire Emerald reserve using it.  It should have a default setting that stops the warlord attacks when the guardian reaches maximum level. If someone wanted the battles to continue past that point the feature could have an override to set number of battles. Plarium should absolutely fix this badly designed feature and restore lost Emeralds to players that were tricked by it.  If Plarium does not have the data to figure out who was affected then at least give out a free Emerald package so these players can get restarted.

The Guardian Autoplay feature is dead anyway since you decided to change $9.95 per week to enable it. Guardians is an annoying part of the game... charging extra for the right to bypass it with autoplay is unconscionable.  It's basic extortion: You add terrible features to the game and charge players to bypass them.

Last year I bought a car from Ford... One morning I wake up to find that Ford has broken into my garage overnight and installed square wheels on my car... they even added special locks on the nuts so I can't remove them.  After I drive to work going UP and DOWN I call Ford to complain.... they tell me that there is fine print in my sales contract that allows them install new "features" on the car without my permission... but if I don't like them I can lease round wheels from them for $99/month.  Sounds familiar?

With every new feature you confirm to me that I was right to quit spending money... No amount that I spend on this game will be enough to quench Plarium's insatiable thirst for more... game quality falling fast + cost to play increasing even faster = No more money from me!

Spartans, Solo Skirmishes allow you to send a lone Guardian to a Skirmish. This Guardian will automatically attack Warlords to obtain Rewards. You can send Guardians that are the maximum Level for their Rank on Solo Skirmishes to earn Summoning Bonds and Energy, but they will not earn any XP.

Solo Skirmishes end when one of the following parameters is met:

You run out of Energy

You run out of Energy Recharge Items and either Emeralds or Drachmas (depending on your version of the game) after choosing to recharge Energy automatically

You reach the Attack Limit

You end the Skirmish manually

More detailed information on how this feature work can be found here. If you faced a bug, please report it to our support team

Nancy you state the obvious... that nobody should ever use the single Guardian attack feature because it's a trap to waste all your emeralds.

There is NO logical reason to continue attacking Warlords after your single Guardian has reached maximum level.  The only thing you can gain is summoning bonds and you're always better off buying them directly with Emeralds (or with cash) rather than rolling the dice with Warlord attacks.

I would challenge anyone playing Guardians extensively to come up with a scenario where using the single Guardian battle with energy recharge enabled makes any sense. I could not.

In case anyone thinks that getting Holy Bonds is a reason to use this feature:

I have played Guardians extensively since they were introduced and have dropped TWO Holy bonds in the entire time which includes all the warlord battles to upgrade 16 Guardians to rank 6 and another 25 to rank 5.  This has cost over one hundred thousand emeralds to do.  Don't ever attack warlords to get bonds... never worth it.

"I would challenge anyone playing Guardians extensively"

Challenge accepted-AND , you are correct as usual.

be thankful you got two holy bonds-I have been playing Guardians since day one-Never a Holy nor Epic bond!

"Don't ever attack warlords to get bonds... never worth it"

Correct again, but with one small point-I use the basic bonds I get (over 100 right now) to summon and then build up guardians.

The most obscene tragedy in all of this is the duplicated responses from Plarium support.

Spartans, people are different, their needs and requirements are also different. While I completely understand your point of view, but it doesn't necessarily mean that there is a bug in Solo Skirmishes feature. There are players who successfully use it and setup prior-setting to limit the number of attacks if they don't want to continue Skirmish as soon as a Guardian is maxed.

Nancy I think you are missing the point.

I have never used the solo skirmish feature with auto recharge as I realised it was flawed - yet I have lost all of my emerald reserves in 2 of my cities.

The whole conquest feature and guardians in general is now a broken system where pre=conquest it was working (though RSI generating and boring).

Until Plarium changes this area for the better, then this will remain a severe irritant, continuing to create resentment amongst your customer base.

The COA arena has illuminated that for most players, the Guardian feature was so time consuming and boring that they could not be bothered

Update: Just reached 35 days without spending a single dollar on the game.  I have now saved over $500!

Why did I quit spending money on the game?  At the core is the uncertainty that Plarium introduced by changing the Guardian rules without warning.  Not just the one change by itself but the uncertainty that it introduces in regard to all the other "rules".  What if Plarium changed the PP payout rules without telling us and 1000s of players killed their entire army trying to get payouts that had been disabled? Or if they introduce new units that are 100 x more powerful than the existing ones rendering your entire army worthless?  Or create features that disable city defense multiplier that players have spent millions of Drachmas building up?

The issue is trust.  Plarium has broken the implied trust that existed in the game by changing a well established rule and creating uncertainty. Uncertainty is horrible in business.  People don't want to "invest" money when the outcome is unpredictable.

It takes a long time to rebuild trust.  When you are caught cheating people won't want to play with you again for a very long time.

The solo auto feature has a limiter on it if you should choose to use it. Some people like the feature because it gives bonds including Holy. You may not think it is worth it but others might. They should have the option to stop when it reaches max level though so you don't have to guess hoe many hits needed to max and input that into limiter

BTW,I have received many Holy since day one. But I used to play guardians daily for hours at a time

I understand that holy bonds can drop on warlord battles but so seldom that you are much better off buying them directly rather than buying energy with emeralds and trying to get them.

If you use the single guardian auto battle with energy recharge option enabled you will burn through all your emeralds without getting any rewards other than bonds and occasional free energy.

Each Rank 6 guardian takes approximately 7000 warlord battles to create

Each Rank 5 guardian takes approximately 1200 warlord battles to create

I have 14 of each plus a lot of Rank 4.  I estimate that I have won in excess of 130,000 warlord battles and won 2 Holy Bonds which puts the odds at about 1-in-65,000.  Per this data it will cost about 6,500 emeralds to gain a single Holy Bond. This is much too expensive.

Why does it take you so many hits to create a Ran 5 or 6?

It takes me aprox 4460 Emeralds (Hits) to make a Rank 6. And now that they lowered the emerald rewards you can lower the hits down even more since you no longer want to take level 4's and 5's to max level before retiring them to make a 5 or 6.

I still think it is worth leveling all Rank 4's and 5's. Especially if you do the 5's twice fr double the emerald rewards.

For a rank 6 you need 720 rank 1 Guardians. (720*10=7200 emeralds)

From the 720 rank 1 you must max level the 360 and use the left 360 for upgrade them to rank 2

From the 360 rank 2 you must lvl up the 120 and use the 240 to upgrade to rank 3

So far :

With guardian XP Boost Active.

360 rank 1 to to max lvl : minimum 8 fights per guardian, 360*8=2880 hits/fights

120 rank 2 to to max lvl : minimum 15 fights per guardian, 120*15=1800 hits/fights

Total =2880+1800=4680 hits/fights.

You need so far 4680 hits/fights to have 120 rank 3 lvl 1 guardians.

720 guardians cost 7200 emeralds + 4680 emeralds to make them rank 3 lvl 1 =11880

360 max lvl bonus is 2*360=720

120 max lvl bonus is 120*5=600

Total bonus=1800+600=1320 emeralds

To Rank 3 lvl 1 Total emeralds Need=1320-11880=-10560 emeralds and 4680 hits/fights.

That is wrong and the reason why it takes you guys so many hits
