Are Scyl, Lanakis and Dhukk fully ascended, geared out? 

As for gearing issues you're having...are you using the fitting room when testing out builds on your new champs? Might be useful in seeing what the top end builds can be, for you. It will take time, but without putting in that time to build out your champs I think you're going to keep running into these issues. 

Geared  yes    not  fully  ascended  no  i  dont  think.  

i  dont  know  how  to  use  the  fitting  room.  Ill  try  it.  What  i  do  now  is  look  at  the  gear  on  them.  If  a  suggestec  stat  to  have  isnt  high  enough  i  try  to  find  gear  that  helps  that  stat,  but  other  stats  get  hurt  bad  in  the  process.  Noghing  has  idea  stats  in  my  gear  collection.  

i  not  dure  where  to  find  better  gear  that  gives  your  all  suggested  stats.  If  i can  get  them  in  dragon  15  or  16  ill  just  have  to  keep  farming  that.  But  is  this  gear  available in  dragon  15  and  16?  Its  hard  to  find  gear  with  speed  substats.  snd  i  do  not  know  ehat  happened  to  the  epic  lifesteal  set  i  got  st  the  begging  on  this  account.  Yesrs  ago,  i  dont  seem  to  have  all  of  them.

is  it  ok  to  use  4  lifesteal  and  a  set  of  2  something  else  or  just  use  all  6  lifesteal?

i  used  to  have  100%  crit  on  kael  but  dont  know  shat  happened    if  i  get  more  crit  i  lose  shield  and  then  he  dont  last  as  long  anymore  so  im  leaving  him  as  is  till  i  get  better  gear.

i  dont  know  yet  how  to  gear  scyl  snd  lanakis  and  dhukk,  im  nervous to  lose  something  they  may  have  thats  good  on  them  now.

its  hard  for  me  cus  you  lose  stats  to  gain  others  and  then  champs  are  dying  to  fast  or  have  little  to  no  damage  and  still  are  not  fast.

A central part of your misunderstanding here is all the conversation regarding survival. The lynchpin of the team I proposed is Scyl. Her job is to keep the waves from hurting you too much and, when they do, to revive the people who die.

Why don't you start by specifically posting your gear on Scyl, and her masteries? And is she booked, specifically on her A2?

She  is  not  geared  great  i  know  but  i  did  defense  for  more  damage  as  her  skills  say  dmg  based  on  def.  i  need  to  change  i  guess.  No  books  at  all,  dont  have  any.  No  masteries  yet.  Been  upgrading  to  max  level  for  very  long  time  now.

Okay so this is a very key point. Scyl cannot be used as crowd control if unbooked. Her A2 just doesn't activate well enough for that without books.

So, to my formerly suggested team, I refine to the following:

• Scyl (insurance revive, AOE CC for waves, passive heals)
• Miscreated Monster (AOE CC for waves, ally protect)
• Dhukk (AOE decrease ATK and DEF, "AOE" provoke)
• Achak (AOE CC, AOE HP Burn)
• Kael (poisons for the boss) 

Here's the thing though - ALL of those, with the exception of Scyl, will need to be fully booked to be effective. I can't state this enough - unbooked, their abilities are longer cooldown and lower chance of landing.

Also, *all* of those champs are blue-affinity. That means you'll do very well against green-affinity, and absolutely terribly against red-affinity. Against red-affinity, you're going to struggle, because you really don't have much. But likely you'll want to swap out Dhukk, Achak, and Kael for Cleo, Visix, and Magnarr.

im  doing  masteries  for  Scyl  now,  got  100  now.  Ill  focus  on  mastering  her  and  the  others  while  using  books  on  them  as  they  come.  But  i  dont  get  legendary  books  but  maybe  once  a  month.

Cleo, Visiz and Magnarr are all quite good. Magnarr always, and Cleo and Visix are both pretty nice after the buffs. Magnarr is 100% worth spending resources on to 60.

Building more champs and more champs is just compounding your gear problem. 

1. You have generally poor gear as you are not to d20 yet

2. I am guessing you are still learning what is a good artifact 

3. The limited amount of decent items you have is spread way too thin

The team you showed should easily beat d20

I  know  my  gear  is  bad,  thats  why  im  trying  to  get  to  d20.  But  i  need  masteries  and  books.  Masteries  easy  books  not,  i  get  legend  books  maybe  once  a  month.  Or  less.

Now  im  trying  to  max  level  Magnarr    hes  way  cool  looking  and his  double  AOE  is  cool  looking  too    

Im  working  on  Magnarr  getting  him  to  level  60.

Magnarr is  60  now  and  im  working  slowly  on  masteries for  the  champs.

but  with  no  epic  and  legend  books  how  should  i  set  up  a  d20  team?  I  rarely  get  epic  snd  legend  books  and  i  cant  defeat  d16

Keep farming and upgrading gear, and ascending your champions in the basic team. Incremental improvements make all the difference. Also having all your core champs masteried is a big must.

I  didnt  realize just  how  long  it  takes  to  get  all  masteries  for  one  champ 

even  when  i  have  all  champs  but  one  on  a  team  max  masteries  so  the  one  champ  gets  them  all.

I  think  Sycl  has  mastery  stuff  now    but  havent  picked  any  yet.  How  do  i  know  when  hes  got  them  all?

I'm slowly getting more masteries for the other mentioned recommended champions for Dragon 20. 

im so bummed I can only do level 15 reliably. And that don't seem to give good lifesteal for my Kael.
