I am working toward completing Forge Mission - Craft 10 Boots at the Forge Using Boots Charms.

I had 2 or 3 already, went to forge, applied a boot charm, recieved 3 boots, but the Mission count remains at 3.  

Why?

P.S,  the charms don't seem to increase odds anyway, so why do they exist?  I have had many times where i apply 10 charms when 10 crafting items, and recieved multiples of other items, and 1 or 0 of the item associated with the charm.
