[Now Fixed Again] Links to forum messages -within- threads broken again.

Clicking share on a message, and copy link, has reverted back to linking only to the topic again, rather than the specific post / message within the thread. This got fixed at some point.

The issue is back again.

Please fix the share / copy link functionality again - the point of the forums are to share / common knowledge, and so some threads are quite long. Forcing people to read dozens or 100's of messages to reach the particularly pertinent / last message is just not on. People won't do it / use it, and if they're not going to do so, there's no point in creating the content for them in the first place.

e.g. Leprechauns' Heir  Cheatsheet:

1. go to https://plarium.com/forum/en/throne-kingdom-at-war/599_fan-guides/215857_achievement-leprechauns--heir/

2. go down to the end of the second post, hover over the

i

icon. 'Share' pops up. Click the icon.

3. Share dialog opens, click Copy link.

4. Paste link into address bar. Gets:

5. https://plarium.com/forum/en/comment/topic_836584/ - which returns you to 1. above.

6. Which isn't the intended 2nd message of the thread.

The correct link that should have been given is https://plarium.com/forum/en/throne-kingdom-at-war/599_fan-guides/215857_achievement-leprechauns--heir/?anchorId=836584

Note to readers:

  • Posting the above got me (forum) banned for a year, repeatedly. Presumably due to too many (all 2?) link within the message kicking in the automatic ban mechanism.
  • - so take note / care when you post. [Right or wrong, it is - judge whether or not you want the aggravation at that time.]
  • Send ticket to support, via KaW Support - Create a Ticket when this happens, and they will review / lift the ban then and there. It may take 2 or 3 days for everyone / everything to get that far.
  • - once on their radar / ticket opened, further response was less than a day each time. (Thanks Annabel !)
  • Support has received that their forum restrictions are too tight (by a titch, at least), and have promised to review such settings at next forum update.
  • In the end, the original message was accepted verbatim. i.e. There was no issue with the content (i.e. agreed not spam, abuse, etc.) - which is to say, the only issue surrounded the forum software's automatic ban settings, not any other surrounding issues, such as censorship.
  • The forum does get spammed. Prudently, they have taken steps to try to combat it. [I only argue that the settings are a titch too tight.]
  • Editing the OP to add the missing final paragraph (and 3rd link) did NOT get me banned again.
  • Testing below, with one, then two, then three, links triggered no ban.

Looks like they reset the forum to give links to individual posts again. Thank you Plarium.

Note that the links no longer look like https://plarium.com/forum/en/throne-kingdom-at-war/600_technical-support/596682_links-to-forum-messages--within--threads-broken-again/?anchorId=1506678 , i.e. ?achorid=<some number> - but they transform to that.

Instead, they start out as https://plarium.com/forum/en/comment/topic_1506678/ ,but become the above.

For example, this is the next message:

Which becomes / transforms (self-redirects) into:

Note: Give it a moment - it first goes to the OP of the thread, then self-jumps down to the intended message within the thread.

Shouldn't have been needed, Roger. Issue was noted and repaired weeks ago. Should never have come back.

It is no wonder we reject your suggestion of sending to support.

Another week of messages back and forth with support - more of my time wasted.

Then more time wasted on a notification that you're happy.
