So, I'll admit, it's not the most intuitive system in the world. But, it is actually better than what they offered previously. Where it comes in handy is to sift through what you already have. But, it's not terribly useful for what you want to upgrade, unfortunately.

To that end, you're best off just using the normal filters. So, for Duchess,

• Top-row artifacts (weapon, helm, chest) - filter to show only items with speed substat and either HP% or DEF%
• Gloves - primary stat either HP% or DEF%, with speed substat
• Chest - primary stat RES, speed substat and either DEF% or HP%
• Boots - primary stat SPD, substat either DEF% or HP%
• Ring - primary stat HP or DEF, substat either DEF% or HP%
• Amulet - primary stat HP or DEF, with RES substat
• Banner - primary stat HP or DEF, with RES substat

Then, for each of those, roll to level 8. For the non-boots/ring/amulet, if you didn't hit speed at least once on the roll, put the item aside and go to the next one. For boots/ring, if you didn't hit HP% or DEF% at least once, put the item aside. For amulet, just roll it to 16, the substats aren't hugely relevant here.

That'll give you a decent amount of survivability and speed. It wont be perfect, but it'll be a decent start.

Wow. So much. Confusing. But doable. Lot to go through. 

I just did dragon 20. Set up gear filter. I chose speed, hp and def both % checked for all substats.  All gear substats. I wonder if I got any from the battles. It took over 4 minutes each run with 40 auto battles. Sheesh. iOS a lot.  It is not iOS. 

I haven't looked to see if anything was won. I got battery low and had to quit game and charge phone. So no idea if anything was won based on filters or even if I had the filters set right. 

Oh wait you're talking about dungeon gear filter? For that, only filter to keep 5 star and 6 star. Leave everything else as default. 

Yes. But why leave everything default when I'm only looking for hp% and def% and speed substats? This is where it's confusing. I know I can search filter for gear I already have which is also confusing. 

Because you're not *only* looking for those items. You're specifically choosing those items to upgrade for Duchess, but that doesn't mean the other items won't be useful for other people.

Yes. But then I have too many gear. It's suck a pain to have so many that I think are bad or don't know if I use them or not. So I sell all 3* and lower. But 4 * with the right stats can be something decent till 5 or 6*. It's just I don't understand the gear filter much. 

But ok I'll leave auto sell gear off for Dragon. 

I hate so much Dragon 20 takes over 5 minutes to win. It's so annoying. Ugh. 

Sadly I'm not getting good gear yet. Grr.
