The original Mech Arena started it all, bringing the fast-paced frenzy of the sport to the attention of the world. For those with the money (and connections), there’s a chance to watch the action from the comfort of the Tribune. CEOs, World Leaders, and celebrities are often spotted inside. In many ways, the Tribune is also a battleground. Deals must be brokered, clients wooed, and influence won. It might be a different kind of game, but many of the players remain the same.
Located in New LA, the original Mech Arena is home to the iconic “Gate of Fate.” Countless Pilots have started their battles here, seeking glory. For some, such as Red and G-Lock, this Arena has marked the start of an illustrious career. Others haven’t been so lucky. A few years ago, the owner announced they were replacing the trusty steel gate with something more high-tech. Met with widespread outrage from the fans, repeated acts of vandalism, and threats to boycott the Arena, the MAL were forced to back down. This iconic feature is here to stay.
When the owner of the original Arena, Excelsior Heavy Industries, bought this piece of land, no one could have imagined what lay ahead. A Japanese company with roots in construction, they had helped rebuild cities all over the world after the Trade War. One day, the CEO, Mr. Takahashi, caught wind of a group of workers who were messing around with some abandoned Mechs and gaining online traction. He saw an opportunity and quickly constructed a prototype Arena.
Now, things are far more developed. The floating billboard in the original Arena uses state-of-the-art anti-gravity technology. But that’s not to say it doesn’t malfunction sometimes. In one particularly hectic battle, the losing team got an unexpected advantage when three enemy Mechs were wiped out by the billboard after it lost power and fell. Some Pilots have even tried shooting it down as part of their strategy, but this practice was quickly banned by the League.

Hello! The aim of the rebalance is to make the Weapons meet their Grades and Classes, as some of them are kinda out of these borders, which damages the overall game balance. Nevertheless, they won't be dramatic - we'd recommend you to give it a try and maybe test some various strategies and tactics. We designed this Update in such a way that the Content remains efficient and relevant but requires an unusual approach to use!
Truly I believe that in the first inception of this game you had stated that the arenas were somewhere nearby, but off-world. Am I remembering this wrong. Since when were these "GATES OF FATE" added? I took a break for awhile between 2019 & 2023. I like the pilots being added, but there seem to be mostly mechs and weapons that can only be bought with U.S.$s before everything had an in game currency amount, if my memory serves me correctly. I woould love to assist your salaries, but live on a limited income. I am wiĺling to play extra hard to receive new gear. It only makes me a stronger player in the long run!
