Gadheras, you know the forum rules and with your track list of warnings and bans it is best not to break. Your post has been edited and you can consider this an official warning. Avoid profanity in your posts, please.

For the matter of VIP players, it is impossible to have a set requirement that will guarantee entry into the program as we do not have enough slots for everyone who qualifies. We have provided information on what would help a player be considered, but the final decision depends too much on the situation at the time, how many slots are available in the program, who else is being considered, etc. They do get benefits, but they have been cut over time to make certain the disparity is not too much, and work on that continues constantly. It is no one's intent to alienate or segregate players.

no matter how many times you try to explain it, its still one of the worst aspects of the game.

its literally discrimination.   nothing in a game that relates to players should be left to the whim of the company.   Either open the progrem up with with clear parameters for entry or do away with it.

As it sits now, its the same as the wheel of fortune or the bot bans.  jsut another feature where plarium selects and chooses who it wants to help.

Lords and Ladies,

While Alina is on vacation I will be covering the forum along with Paul, who you already met. To reiterate a statement that has been made on a number of occasions - there is no guaranteed way to become a VIP player. I am aware what the contemporary opinion on this is, that you need to spend a lot of money. That, however, is incorrect. Activity, time spent in the game and ability to do well in different events and Tournaments as well as position in prominent Leagues all play a much bigger part in getting the player a chance to be considered for a VIP position. But at the same time, the number of people that can be invited into the program is limited and is much smaller than the number of players who qualify. There are times when several candidates are available and only one can be offered a slot. As such, there is an element of luck to it as well.

There is no guarantee way to become a VIP because of what?

You for saying a VIP doesn't have to spend a lot of money. I don't believe you. There is no evidence that show VIP don't spend a lot if money. However, there is tons of evidently that show, and prove that the majority of VIP have spend/are spending a lot of money. I know 15 players in server 1, all of them spent a lot of money before they were invited to the program.

But hey you can prove me wrong. So how about you get some logs showing spending of 10 VIP for 3 months before they were invited. I know that those data are there, so prove me wrong. And how do you explain players , who upon using a VPN connected to Australia and spending a couple of 330$ gets invited. I know 2 VIP who got chosen this way. Prove me wrong.

I wanna believe you. I want to believe that all I have to do to become VIP is to win a couple of tournaments or be active, or influence game in a major way. But I know that is a lie. The Freenzie case can act as my proof here. She won over 100 weekly rankings, in position one, from raid, BG, offence, to defense. She was never invited in the program, not until she got 1 billion.

I really want to believe that your statements are true. But we both KNOW THE GREATER TRUTH. That financial profiling is used for this. I play Entropia online, a game were being rich in RL mean more fun. But the VIP program make it impossible to compete with members in tournaments with members. I can score 40K points, won't I want want red wyverns.

This is just another case of 'developers say" this is or that...

We don't care what the developers say any more.

We are telling you (due to lack developers contact), what we all see. Many thing looks good on paper, but execution is nothing like the expectation.

Seems as though the nerves have been struck again,,,, out with ban threats... LMAO

Grow a pair and tell the developers to read the forum!!!!!!!

as far as we are concerned there are no developers.

They are as real as my chances to get VIP.

an untouchable, unknowable thing that the community managers use to deflect tough question.

Until just recently, a fake made up character (Oberon) had been more reachability than the developers.  but it seems that even Oberon withdrawn to the mystical realm of the developers.

I talked to a guy a while back whos alt had gotten into the VIP program while his main account hadn't.  So apparently it's not all about money or even activity, there is an element of randomness to it.  I'm sure spending is a factor, but it's definitely not the only factor.

Also, please remember that discussing other games is against forum rules.

I think you realize yourself that this sort of information cannot and would not be made public by any company due to far-reaching privacy reasons. I, personally, would be quite furious if my information was posted - whether or not I spent anything in the game, and I imagine many other players would feel the same way. There is also a matter of legality to keeping that information private even if we forego common decency.

So, unfortunately, there is literally very little I can do to provide you with solid proof. I could look for a screenshot of a Sparta VIP player posting on our Facebook page in response to a similar thread, but I am unsure even that would be enough to change public opinion on the matter.

What I can say that it is not incorrect or surprising that a number of VIPs have made in-game purchases, which in turn allowed them to do well in the game and be put on the consideration list for the VIP program.

Hi, Gadheras!

Well, if the game allows in-game purchases, how can it be illicit then? :)

Guys, unfortunately, we can't reveal all the details and all the requirements to join the VIP program, as we don't have the full list of them. And this list is very large, for sure.

We can only tell you that one of the most important criteria is the activity in the game, huge experience, considerable influence on the communities. These ones are at the top. However, there are more requirements.

There's a special team which is monitoring the players and sends the invites, if the player meets the needed criteria. We can't influence on this process in any way, I'm afraid.

Well, seeing a lot of laws and regulations is on the horizon in regard of loot boxes and similar in gaming. Maybe soon it will be illicit? who know. What you said about huge experience and considerable influence on the communities doesn't quite compute, because I can name a lot of players that would excel under those conditions that is not a vip.

And when stated, that if people spend money to do better in the game and that way earn vip. How can even other players that doesn't spend as much to make his/her mark do do "that" good, even be considered? That is why I refer it as double dipping.

Tbh, you should scratch the entire thing, and rather make a program that focus on follow up new players for a limited time. Majority of new players doesn't stick around for very long anyways, its not like it would turn into a giant program you don't have the resources to follow up.

Then you should have some sort of program that involve every league marshall. That could give heads up to changes, tournaments, coming offers, specials whatever. Then these again would trinkle the news back to the members of the leagues.

At current time your vip program come across like the pampering the casinos does to their whales to make sure they keep play and spend time at their casinos.

You'd be surprised, I was in vegas (at caesars palace) last summer and the buffets aren't as cheap as they used to be.

Most of the regulations are specifically targeted at loot boxes and mechanics that have chance to win a particular item, I don't think any of them would cover VIP programs.

No, but there is enough of randomized offers in this game, that could be included. Like item chests, that would be covered as loot boxes. But its not just loot boxes that being looked into, but the drive to keep people get addicted to spending, and then particular youths.

I always been in favor of more subscriber based solutions and solutions where the business model have no real impact on the game in from of "pay to win". Like cosmetics, time/xp boosters, resource packs, have no real impact on the game in form of pay to win. Heck I wouldn't mind so much buying units either if they did get added to your training queue in the barracks and took time to churn out like units else. Its the instant power that wrecked this game and Plarium in denial of.

Yeah the prize draws would certainly fall under the gambling category as well.

Hmm it would certainly be interesting if plarium removed the bank completely and went to a monthly subscription model :P
