A raid would be faster and that is too big to be fast. That is too big to be a spy mission either. That is big enough to make a take-over effort though -- a siege.

It's 1 and 3.
It's obviously a raid, because if it were a siege you wouldn't send your dragons in that brazenly. The dragons attacking already, the troops positioned so close the walls and the limited directions of attack imply a concentrated assault on one specific part of the city, which means if it was a siege, they'd be positioned all the way around it.
As for the character close to our point-of-view, he's clearly a spy. He has no other logical reason to be that far back unless he's scouting/spying for a 3rd party. If he was a part of the raid, he's clearly not doing a very good job, lol.

also the one here at the back his the Real spy noone can see him he so cunning by the way he moves and stays behind on purpose ,its a false sense of security is what he is causing and so is the whole scene in order to spy the castle correctly without being seen or caught..they all think its a seige and a raid but really its a SPY MISSION defently without doubt ,anyone with a bit of common sense knows that the answer to this HAS TO BE CHOICE 3.

I see red flag normally back then where used for preparing for battle
So im thinking they will siege first get it in there control then raid
the dragons are hovering over to kill any archers and or destroy any trebuchets aka swing throwers
