So did you set 2x champs before summoning? Not even sure who I should do that for... pvp or pve champs? 

Will hydra champs be much better? Will it be a necessity to stay in G3/G4?  I literally know nothing... asking for a friend though...

My thought is this... if you can already beat the dungeon content, and Hydra, which you obviously can and do pretty darn well at... then the only thing that's gonna change for you is PvP as other people get blessings. Sure, maybe you could do Hydra a little faster or something, or run Dragon in 55 seconds instead of 1:05, but that is miniscule stuff. 

We are trying to fight around in Gold Tag and such....which means we need to focus on fighting blessings with blessings. I see it as needed to stay in the top tiers unfortunately, and it's gonna be tougher for those of us who aren't gonna buy the packs and don't have the gems to get 4500 gems worth of key refills each month.

I'm very curious to see if Plarium plan on doing 2x/10x for these ascension champs too. I pulled my initial set, but I think going forward I'll be saving to see. My initial thought was that they wouldn't, but the more I think about it, the more I think they probably will.

I think I'd strongly consider selling, and it's for the reasons you listed in the above post. I think for the most part focusing on PvE improvements just won't yield near the benefits from trying to stay competitive in higher end PvP. 

PvE improvements seem trivial, at least where you are in the game. 

You think sell as I can already do everything I'd use Tumesia for IF I even pulled her? I mean, it'll be sometime in 2023 I pull my next void Legendary if the trends keep up, and gambling it away gives me a 5-6 star epic/legendary soul. Hmmm......

PvP IS my focus nearly completely for sure, and it can be tough out here. lol

I may avoid the fortress until the right teams are known.  I cant afford to lose energy and 120 more energy per day wont fit into my energy budget.  They went too far.

That said, we know we'll have to see some more ramping up of PvE content down the line...part of me wonders whether blessings will play a bigger role in an eventual Doom Tower rotation, Hydra difficulty addition, something to that effect. 🤔

What I'm curious to find out is, and we need the teams of (no offense intended) math geeks to come up with some formula for this, but at which point does all this system become relevant?

Let's take the 2 extremes. You just started, and you have Kael at 60 and nothing else. Now, what good would any soulstone be if not's Kael right? Or, you're the OG player, maybe a whale, or not, but you have pretty much a copy of almost every legendary and epic that is playable, now when you pull soulstones, you're almost guaranteed to get something for someone you own, when it gets you an epic or lego of course.

So then, where's the tipping poing to make this system start being relevant? A roster of 20 champions? 50? 100?

So far at least, it seems less of a "roster of XX champs" and more of a "have these specific ones".

I remember DAYS of riots when he was changed, and he's still so stupidly strong. XD XD

The value of that 40 Ancient shard Geo event continues to go up and up.

Well - on red at least, my team doesn't work anymore due to Kimi being wrong affinity. So, red will definitely be an overnight clear :)

Alas - level 1 paragon can't kill the boss fast enough. Lol. Guess I'll level him during champ training :)

LOL, maybe if you just give one potion? Maybe 2. But 3 might be overkill haha

have you tried sticking him in a toxic set?

Yeah - turn limit gets reached before the boss dies. Once I give him Warmaster it'll speed things up enough to win.
