Make sure the items are atk% and not just atk. Also this needs to be the mainstat of the items not a substats.

That's what I figured after wasting 2 million in silver..LOL I have to laugh, this game makes me want to cry. I'm pretty sure you hit the nail on the head.  I have attack, then it's like do I use defense even though the first stat is attack. I just want to bypass this one and move on to more frustrating stuff in the game. LOL

These missions should really be changed, since they force you to put bad gear on people. Attack percentage on boots is only very, very rarely the right answer for any champion and also on gloves, it's usually better to go for crit rate or crit damage ones instead of attack percentage, for your nukers. As for gear with 'flat' attack as main stat, other than weapons which inevitably have that as main stat, that's trash which you can just sell immediately.

As Trevor said, it's about the wrong message they send as well. Plus, they make you level up the gear to level 12, which is also a waste of silver which is already scarce enough for early (and mid, and late...) game players. 

THAT'S IT I AM NOT DOING THAT MISSION SO FORGET IT I WON'T GET ANY FARTHER.

I just spent so much silver and changed 6 artifacts. 3 per champion. And guess what it didn't work. I think I screwed up on one with the main stat being attack even though it had a percent  sign behind it.  I have wasted to much time, silver and frustrating.

This is a example of mainstat circled. Further the mainstat shown is attack%. You need this on boots, chest, gloves for the quest.

In addition to that, the champ has to be an "attack-champ" (like Kael). If you put the items on (for example) Apothecary, it doesn't work, Apo is a "support-champ".

I was going to just ignore this "Troll"  Sp basically i'm just to stupid to play this game and should quit? And your so smart because you know how to play a video game? Yes, the ones for Kael are indeed because there isn't a percentage. On Ninja, all three seem to be correct, so if your quest isn't showing 1/2 now, then that's indeed a bug. Possibly unequipping and re-equipping one of the gear pieces (the chest, as it will cost you the least silver) might fix that.

Like others allready said: yes.

And the difference between attack and attack% is not only important for this quest, but for equipping your champs and have success in the game in general. Your Kael at lvl 60 has 1200 base attack. Equipping a piece with 50% attack will result in 1800 attack. Equipping a piece with 50 attack instead of 50% will result in 1250 attack. It works in the same way with def/ def% and hp/ hp%.

You don't want to use gloves, chests and boots with flat (without %) stats of attack, def or hp as mainstat. Immediately sell these artifacts for silver, they are garbage.

As stated above, all the equipment needs to have Attack % as the main stat. You'll need to change out Kael's gauntlets and boots.

Unrelated to your actual question - I do see that you're beginning to attempt to take a 4* item to level 16. Don't do that. It's a massive waste of your limited resources this early in the game. I also see a handful of 3* items at level 12. Don't do that either. Less than 4 star is auto sell. 4 star to 12 max. 5 star to 12 unless you have very good primary and substats.

THANK YOU EVERYONE!! It is DONE!!! Cost me a ton of silver, but it's worth it because of what I have learned.

I definetly need to do some more research on all these stats  and how they work, and how to use them properly.  Even the stars, I will be back with more questions...:) hope you don't mind.

I just cannot justify spending a penny more as it is too difficult to progress.  Stuck on spider 19, cannot get Arbiter.   Why can't they make an easy, medium and hard level for different players?  Not all of us are mathmaticians.  And another thing, sliding down the arena ladder is not fair when we have lives outside the game.  Why cant they maintain your level for a week? Also, re-balancing characters means you invest in one then its no good any longer - they keep you on the merry go round forever unless your a content creator getting perks and shards and books.  It's sad because I love the game but now I am in a losing cycle where progression is impossible and losing interest fast.
