Maus mage vs sepulchre for clan boss

Ok,  i  think  i  am  being  a  total  div  here  but  i  cant  understand  why  sepulcher  sentinel  is  rated  higher  that  maus  mage  for  clan  boss.  Sepulcher  has  a  2  turn  increase  defense  on  a  4  turn  cooldown whereas  mays  mage  has  a  2  turn  increase  defense  on  a  3  turn  cooldown.  Surely  by  using  sepulcher  in  a  1-1  clan  boss  team  you  have  2  hits  wothout  increase  defense.  Have  i  missed  something  here?

She  is  used  mostly  for  decrease  att  on  the  CB,  from  her  A1.

if  you  can  get  her  fast  enough  to  move  at  a  4:3  ratio  then  you  can  get  her  block  buffs  to  be  up  to  block  the  stun.

Also  Magus  is  att  based  champ  so  it  is  harder  to  build  up  her  defence  to  last  against  the  CB

You are missing the atk debuff Sepulcher brings on her A1, her aura (def on all battles, works vs. CB) and her passive. Sepulcher's skillset as a whole seems to be better vs. CB. 

Of course this depends on your team composition. Maybe for you Masuoleum Mage is better, because you allready have somebody else for atk debuff and another champ with a good "all-battles-aura" and don't benefit from Sepulcher so much.

SS is fantastic. You put her in a 4:3 and block stun, and she also has her passive to nullify damage. And to top it off, she hits like a truck - I generally get 100k+ crits, ontop of warmaster/giantslayer (whichever the 60% one is). Also, her aura is very good as well. And, as mentioned, she has the decrease ATK on her A1 as well.
