Wow, that's really important and interesting information. Thank you!

Playing for a week or two and I always wondered how to get those extra troops. Now I don't feel that bad about my losses.

Still a question left: is the type of the reward determined by level/research/playtime/whatever or random?

Because I only get "high end" stuff related to my own fleet which is not bad but I just got 3 juggernauts but cannot fully support that big cannon because I don't have enough lesser or mid-range support. I would prefer a mix (but then again, I know nothing ;))

Do Brethren and Dread units contribute to the bank?

Brethren Units and dreads do not count towards the bank, they have no resource value. Those are units you're better off keeping. If you can build it in your tavern excluding units that require gears to be built then they go toward the bank. Oh and don't use dreads those are useful and cost a pretty penny/ruby

Does that mean Veteran Troops have less value because some rubies are used and the resources cost reduced?

PS - somewhere it is said that Brethren Troops have same resource values credited to banking..

and I have used quite a few -and never came out behind.. but if true - I'll be making huge gains now..

I'll try it with out Brethren troops and let you know if I come out with huge gains... I never had enough veteran troops to use with prizes

I tried 8-10% interest and it still seems to work well

I'm not 100% on vetern units but they should have less res value than regular units. From what I've read Brethren Units have no resource value. The only place these units are beneficial to use is on Adventures. But there's a saying you don't use subs to get subs. Something to keep in mind when doing prizes or adventures. You're best bet for Adventures is dark corsairs or gear units. And on prizes your mercenary's and pirate class units are best. It takes time but pays off in the end.

If you'd like confirmation though on Brethren Units, you'll have to do as Anne Bonnie has requested

To clear one thing up, Anne Bonnie herself has said that Brethren Units DO in fact count towards your Prize Bank.  This was it's own thread in the Forum.  One question I do have though...  If I beat a lvl 94 and get a reward then my next reward is given on a lvl 87, does this mean that I will start in the positive that much towards my next reward?

As far as i know, it's not about on which level you get the prize, it's about empty runs you had in between these two payouts.

Do a lil calculation by your own and check how many prize were remaining when you get lvl 94 payout and was that in + or -. than how many you spent more till the payout of lvl 87, if payout is greater than your expense you have to pay before the next payout

Soon as you get a payout from what I've seen and experienced you still owe the bank no mater what level it was on. All that 94 was doing was helping to pay the bank. I could beat a 100 to build my bank but if I get a payout lets say on 50. Thats my payout. However I have seen times when the bank does still owe you but you have to be able to defeat a prize right away to get a double payout. Thats not very often though. if you're on lv94 don't you have a system

So, where can one see the bank info?

You have to calculate it by yourself.

# of Units Multiply by resource required for 1 unit and than add 12% bonus into it. That is your bank amount.

if you send a tactical unit at Icy via PTOF it will show up and tell you your banking

 *snickers*

honestly you have to calculate what you kill on your prizes your self

Here's a great location to send a fireship to -569; 771  got 101 pvp couple hrs ago. Took out a kraken too

Maybe I read it wrong. But you add up the values of one troop first then multiple by unit quantity. But also if you get 60k gold for instance with that payout, you have to equate that as well into your bank value. Figuring out payments is the same but without including the itnerest

No, units lost while doing Prizes are counted towards bank.

It does not include PVP, Adventures etc. only & Only Prizes.

oh yes, any troop you make that cost resources counts, you can even kill offense in a defense

and defense in a offense prize, and it will still count towards your banking
