Only 3 types of assailants and diamonds?
I can't seem to find any assailants that give troop specific materials. New server (66), only smuggler, nord, nomad.
Also, I do not see a way to use diamonds?

Assailants changes every 1 or 2 week
Diamonds is material which will help you create equipment in Workshop
