Its only me or all kind of acc have lower upgrade rate?

I just tried upgrade 5 star ring:
From 8->9 - 7 attempts

9->10 - 11 attempts

10->11 - 21 attempts!

11->12 - 13 attempts

52x...That ate roughly around 800k silver so I didn't even try to push it higher. Also for some reason, acc are more expensive to upgrade than normal items. I tried also neck and banner and they also "react" very reluctantly.

Its only my luck or thats common thing?
