Looking at Mystery Shards:

Common - 74.2%

Uncommon - 24.4%

Rare - 1.4%

The game tells you odds if you click on the i on the portal. You're almost spot on. Sure you may seem a little higher on common and lower on the other two, but the variance is negligible in the statistical scheme of things. You got 16 more commons than you statistically should have. that's a 3.5% variance on the expected outcome which is very minor.

@Daveokeefe the odds are listed. Don't expect a legendary, even the Sacred shard has only a 6% chance of getting a Legendary. Odds say you'd have to open 17 Sacred shards to get ONE Legendary... So unless you've opened 17+ Sacred shards I wouldn't even start complaining. In case you're wondering odds on an Ancient Shard is .5% meaning 200 Ancient Shards to get a Legendary. .4% on a Void Shard meaning 250 Void shards to get a Legendary (on average...)
