The speed of a individual champ does not determine the re-use timing of their skills in the CB cycle. The speed of all champs are important in your speed tune. If you have some champs too fast or too slow then your clockwork falls apart - this speed tune works for me so SS can consitently block the stun:

I have Altan, Valk, SS, Rhazin & a poisoner. All of their skill fit perfectly into that speed tune so DEF Up overlaps, CA is up before AOE1 and Valk goes last before AOE1 and SS goes before the stun. My gear is not grt, but that nets about 29-32 mil on UNM per key.

My SS is at 236 speed.
