Can you please tell me ALL the ways to level up shaman without completing quests ? And I have no tasks left.

2. Attack with attached shaman

3. Tasks

4. Quests

5. Upgrade buildings and knowledge

6. Use books of mysteries

And upgrading Hall of Mysteries's level gives Shamans a bonus for XP won:

Experience points:


If the active shaman is at maximum experience points of his stage,

think about selecting another one just before you win XP,

(ghost attacks, quests, tasks, building improvement and knowledge)


it would be a shame to lose those winnings!


Then return to the shaman of your choice.

Yup, good to remind it. 

My problem is I'm planning a trap so influence must stay low, so I claim no quests and my knowledge/buildings must also stay relatively low, used all my refreshers. And now it's a grind to level up my shaman...

i am now 2 bil influence and trap work good... lot of people like to try hit something big...


i am lvl 27 and influence of building is only 42 million... hero influence is already 30 million and shaman is 26 million... i have clain all the quest but these weight a ridiculous amount of 5 million...


Lot of my influence is from troop... have over 30 mil troop in my cities... good for 1.4 bil influence... not long ago, i was with only 20 mil troop but a massive onslaught have almost kill all my t1-t2-t3 ... i have win but it was limit... when you trap, you want enough troop for resist any attack/onslaught and reach saturation level who greatly reduce your loss...


584 mil influence is from research... research is very important for buf up your troop... and win battle


Below, a screenshot of my actual influence...and a other one when i was trapping 2 month ago...





My point is that you need troop for saturation level and a lot of research for boost the health/defense/attack from your troop... both greatly increase your influence...


Lot of tutorials for trapping say to not clain quest/construction/research for keep influence low but these tutorial are old one and become obsolete... when your city is above  lvl 21, influence for construction is directly added... same when you reach some level in research...


There is other ways to push the ennemy to attack your trap by manipulation your statistic... by example, i have 2109 battle win and 2219 battle loss in my statistic... around 50 mil troop lost and 50 mil kill... ennemy think that i am big but weak...


the thing is that i loose a lot of t1 but kill plenty of t5... as in the second screenshot


Now, from time to time, during the 2 rest days between cvc and kvk/kvkr, i send my troop outside my cities, put some rss "gift" and ask somebody from a other clan in our kingdom to attack me for 1 or 2 hours non stop... this increase greatly my amount of defeat without loosing any troop...

That's a little example haha, I asked just for shaman XP and you told me everything you could about trap. Just joking mate, I'm sure this would help a lot of people, but I'm not planning a trap if I don't know what I talk about...

I could let my influence grow higher but thing is my kingdom is recent if i get 1b inf I am top 5 in kingdom, where's the point ? For now, I don't want to go higher than 150M.

i understand... in my case, my kingdom is around 1 year old and there is enough cities above the 10 billion... i am not a big fish in my kingdom...


and i am prety sure that you will grow when needed...


I am now 2.1 bil, i was 1.1 in april, and as you can see below, 500k in february... i simply grown as the whole clan, trying to not be left behind with more strong cvc/kvk ennemies




For info, i have just reach lvl 60 with my shaman today... now, influence of shaman weight 30m ( +3.5 mil influence from previous level ) ... if you want to keep influence below 150m, there is not hurry in increasing too much shzmzn levels

Yup exactly that's the plan. Grow at the same rate a my kingdom. I get your point, thing is my shaman is already stage 5 level 35 so I'd rather take advantages of all bonuses he might gave me, especially those buffs during defense we only get at level 41...

well, only my big belly shaman is at lvl 60... my combat shaman is only stage 2... shaman experience is not really a issue since i play a lot with the clan task refresher... a legendary or 2 epic task allow me to buy again a clan task refresher in the clan store...


My big issue is the charm... can buy these for baggie in the clan store but other can only be found in bank package or with special event as snowviking...


So, until the other are ready, i use baggie for fight... not the best shaman for combat but with right gear and gems, it somehow help...


Anyway, shaman is not something that player can ignore... they cost a lot in material for gear and a lot in rss for research but they can mean the difference between victory and defeat... just wish that shaman was with some feature who already exist for hero... as a scrool for have double shaman... or shaman added to the memory configuration thing for the hero...
