Disallow attacks on towns when one platform is down

Suspending play when users of Plarium Play or Facebook or mobile phones are not able to access the game but other platforms are would suspend plarium's cash flow.  A less drastic measure which would make the situation a good deal more fair (and also save a lot of time and effort sorting out complaints afterwards) is to make it impossible to attack towns during such times.  No one gets zeroed and a lot of stress felt by those unable to access the game but fearful that their shield is expiring is avoided.

Hi John! If we find any issues on our part, then we try to inform the players about the situation as soon as possible. In this case, maintenance is usually included. During maintenance, the game is not available to all players.

If you have any technical issues such as you described, please forward your request to our support specialists through the "Ask a question" button on the home page of the Game Guide: https://vikingsweb-support.plarium.com

Have a great day!

You do not need to inform players about one of the platforms being down, they discover that for themselves when they cannot access the game.   Initiating a maintenance when one platform is down would be an excellent thing to do and it has been suggested to you by players but you have never done it - presumably because it would interupt your cash flow.

It is a pity that you choose to ignore the suggestion above.  When one platform is down players know that competitors on other platforms are able to access the game and hence are anxious about shields falling.  Players and yourselves are also lose time and trouble submitting tickets and sorting out the claims to have suffered damage due to the downtime.

So now we have an example.  Facebook is down and those who play via facebook cannot access the game.  Of course there is no question of you initiating maintenance (or suspending play in any other way).  So players are now anxious and you will encounter claims to have suffered damage.

On this occassion you will meet any claims to have suffered damage by saying that it is not your fault if Facebook goes down so perhaps that is not something which causes any concern.  Perhaps anxiety on the part of players is also an irrelevance, who knows.

Anyway if the programmer could introduce some programming which allowed a period during which attacks on towns was not possible and if the game's managers initiated a system to monitor accessibility through the various platforms it seems to me that fair play within the game would be a little improved.

will Klondike Expedition ever be back up and running on Facebook again?  If not, is there any way to migrate my progress from the FB game to Plarium platform?  Thanks for your help so much as it's pretty stressful since I had achieved a high level while playing on FB.
