Absurd withdrawal of silver

But don't you realize, that the daily withdrawal of silver by the clan chief who holds the POP is absurd and unjustified?

What does it mean to withdraw silver every day from all the leaders of the various clans, when they do nothing for them?

Once (centuries ago), clan chiefs were asked for begging, because in return they received protection and more.

These (in the game) DO NOTHING, but "steal" silver from others.

Incredible this unjustified and out of mind medieval tax.

Interesting outpouring of your somewhat justifiable outrage.

It seems reasonable by he date of your registration and your other forum post, that you are new to the game.

I suggest you read  the other posts elsewhere on this subject.

Failing that, the simplest solution, which is probably known to most ,is for the chief to have no silver, as 10% of 0 is 0.

Yes, it's actually the only tax in the game that can be avoided easily. The taxes on convoys are much worse and they benefit nobody.

You can level a town to 12 with no Manors and no limit on hero or shaman level , if you only go to lvl 5 you can even forgo shielding. And it is most satisfying to see 0 in the pop message!

the main one I object to is when the silver "levy" occurs within an hour of the clan battle outcome being determined which leaves the chief almost zero time to log in and transfer >1 billion silver.

we've been stung a couple of times because the levy occurs at different times of the day and is not predictable :(
