What were you expeccting instead?
That the guard would drop the shield so that you could attack.
This isn't how it works.
The information you get is when the shield started, and when it might expire.

As Guard Payoff information appears under Reports ,apologies that I misunderstood your post.
Of course I have no idea what you actually saw ,or how / why it happened.
