game unplayable slowness

Hi

Been playing a few years and from time to time have had lag issues but this week its unplayable.  Jot was fine all weekend.. other than my unshielding.. Mon morning was fine.. since then have deleted cache, cookies.., tried both chrome & edge,  reset modem/router, few others.. it takes me 3:27.96 mins/seconds or longer to connect.. it pauses at 45% - longer at 75% and then sets at 100% forever.. once connected 30 - 44 seconds to go from town to global view..  blue spinning circle after any button click in game.. town or global.. etc  connection seems fine on other sites.. 

open to suggestions.

Currently we're facing some difficulties at one of the game's data transmission nodes. The provider of this node is solving the issue.

In this situation, you have to wait for the provider to get the job done. The game will automatically stabilise itself. As a temporary solution, you can start your game on your mobile device by restoring the game via Facebook or PlariumID.

Thanks.. unfortunatedly I started on the computer years ago and have never been able to play on phone.

I did load an old Firefox that I havent used in years this morning and can now play again.. will keep checking with Chrome to see when can go back to it.

Hi

I am in the same situation as Kutter.  The last couple of weeks I have had lag issues that have made it unplayable.  I have deleted caches, cookies, tried both chrome & edge, reset my home router, tried connecting at my workplace (utilizing a gig connection at my desk) all with the same result.  The game takes me a long time to connect.  It always pauses at 45%, next at 75% and then sets at 100%.  I have noticed that I sat at 100% for over 1 minute.  When I am in the game, I have to hover for 3-5 seconds before anything highlights for me to click on it.  Once I click, it takes a couple of seconds before the game responds and anything happens.  I sit at a white screen when going to global from town and vice-versa.  The game graphics are very choppy.  I am not having problems with any other sites.  As I see you are working on something based off the previous reply to Kutter, any update?

Hi.  My husband and I along with several members of my clan have these same issues ever since the helheim update.  It starts loading the game from 20% which takes forever.  It used to load that slow for the first time you load the game, then when you sign in it would start loading at 45% which then would take maybe about 15 seconds to load.  Now it starts loading from the 20% mark, as if it's the first time loading ther game every time we sign in, which takes any where from  3 to 5 minutes. We have cleared the cache, cookies, browsing history etc.  My husband has tried signing in using the college's computers and has the same problem there as well.  We all use pc and are using google chrome.

hello;   well our clan is suffering from this also right now. continual blue rings happening every time you hit a activate button. totally unplayable and this has been happening since the Helheim was started as well.

we have all done everything that was recommended by Plarium to no avail. it is now totally unplayable. 

very disappointing when we all pay so much real money to play this game and get a really third-class standard of the game. something needs to be done urgently as there is a lot of talk in my kingdom of just dropping out of the game totally and that would be a shame as when it is working properly it is a very good game to play.  I'm also over the standard response of " try this or this ", it makes no difference at all.

Hi

Have been able to play on Firfox.. but just checked Chrome again a few minutes ago and either the issue is still not fixed or Chrome has some other issue as it is still unplayable slow.

Hi having the same issues, taking forever to load in the browser version. 

It does eventually load and I can play for at least an hour or two no problem then the blue circle starts occuring more frequent and I have to reload and the cycle repeats itself

I have tried Chrome, Opera GX, Vivaldi next I will try firefox. 

It takes minutes to get to 74% or it would go all the way to 98% (sometimes taking 5 minutes) then stop and buffer and then a message would pop up saying connection lost and that a stable connection is needed. 

I know my connection is stable. This is the only online browser game that I have issues loading. 

When will this be resolved?

Playing Vikings for 3 years now, but since Juli the game runs like a pile of shit. Every action you wanna start is rewarded with a spinning blue circle you can look at for hours and hours. Or you got kicked out from the game. So annoying. This crap mostly happens during the battles on tuesdays and the weekend battles like Jötunheim.

Really think if I should quit Vikings 👎

 Though it was problematic beforehand, currently there is an incredible amount of lag in the game which I believe started after the most recent update.

I have the same issues - constantly restarting due to connection lost as well as the blue circling with different actions. I haven't been able to use Chrome since the Hellheim update - same as what happened with Thrones game. Now after maintenance, its difficult to even get the game to load. Im afraid to do anything because the game will cut out after sending an attack or on a way to a tile and before I can shield during cvc/kvk.

nothing unusual about lack of speedy fixing of problems on this game.happy to take your money but take forever to do anything about making sure the game runs smoothly.especially for pc players.

pc players are no longer considered and go to the bottom of the list.priority is mobile phone players.I have only today just started having slightly slower game play on mobile but no log in lag time.however log in on pc is getting worse not better.I suggest everyone that spends money on the game to stop spending until this is fixed.as for the game technical support,i suggest not only fixing fast,but find another provider for your data to be sent and recieved.do it once do it right or do not bother doing at all.take pride in what you do.personally i think you should reward every player no every server a my town is my castle resource package as compensation.get real about your compensation for major issues.

Any update?  I appreciate Kutter commenting again about Firefox, but what I hoped an Admin would actually respond.
