I think you will find that the complaint is about the shamans (Sibbba's) charms in the competition currently running, its sounds like the amount given is not the correct (expected) amount.

I think the reason why might be is that you might have used 25 (35?) upgrading the shaman to the next stage ...

That's a good point, of course its easy when you know how something works, but I find the whole charm mechanism difficult to understand.
