Unable to start the game from PlayApp

Since the last update introducing the new event i been unable to start the game using Plarium PlayApp on a a Mac.

I tried deleting the app, deleting all the files and folders belonging to the app and reinstalled a few times but no luck.

Any help on this issue would be much appreciated.

Here is the msg i'm getting when trying to load the game.

And please don't blame my Internet connection........
