Seasonal event - The age of seekers

Why seasonal event - The age of seekers, is not open to all players? It seems that only league of conquerors and above can earn runic coin according to the info. If so, there is no need to make such a big advertisement in the event top.

I figure you are wrong, it is open to everyone, but not every one can get the coins.

This serves a very useful purpose, it keeps upstarts in their place, and advantages those they want to keep sweet.

Provides a big carrot to get you to play more and pay more, a win win for most everyone except those that like the game, but are not wedded to it.
