Did Holmgang get harder after the update?

Before the update, we killed about 120k-130k T3/T4 troops in an onslaught. All superboosts on, gear maxed out, best aes activated, no enemy defense, attacking with T7.

BUT, today we managed to kill only 35k T3/T4 troops in average in three attempts. Same attack team. This time the enemy didn't even bother to show up. Did anyone else experience stronger jotun defense? I'm talking rookie level here. Killing just one third in equal crisumstances is a huge difference.

Of course you could be right, and you may get confirmation from other players.

Well, the difference is simply too big, as you can see. The only difference I noticed was the level of the towers. I can imagine higher lvl towers get tougher jotun troops, but I really can't imagine the difference would be so huge. Mind that our accounts got stronger since previous holmgang events, so we were hitting harder for sure.

The only difference I noticed was the level of the towers. I can imagine higher lvl towers get tougher jotun troops, but I really can't imagine the difference would be so huge.
