Is this game p2w?

Is this game p2w or pay to progress?

I actually quite enjoy the game but won't continue playing if I have to use my whole month salary to play the game.

Except there is no real winning even if you pay.

Pay to speed progress, unfortunately it is,as I am informed most of the on line games are .

In some respects its much easier to play for free these days than it used to be, but the game is so long and complex now ,I think apart from passing a bit of time, there is little point in doing so, because many players are proficient with deep pockets, and will generally always pay to get the newest update, and will ever distance themselves from the free or casual player, and still attack them, but with greater ease.

In fact, when the maximum palace level was 21, it was still a fools errand, especially finding out whats really going on behind the curtain.

There are two games played on the same battlefield.  Vikings: War of Clans requires patience and, in common with most similar games, the main skill which you develop is identifying targets.  There is no winning post so you need to be someone who finds satisfaction in gradual progress towards goals you set yourself.

Vikings: Game of Shopping is altogether different and the main requirement is impatience.

Although the two games share the same terrain they don't interreact a whole lot.  A War of Clans player is unlikely to feel comfortable in a Game of Shopping clan and vice versa.

The game mechanics tend to match War of Clans clans and kingdoms against each other and the same for Game of Shopping clans and kingdoms.

One part of the game - Jotunheim - is close to being off limits for a War of Clans player but otherwise I have played for two years without spending any money and have enjoyed the game.

Of course from time to time I collide with a Game of Shopping player but the game only puts troops and resources at risk - all the things you work to develop - buildings, knowledge, hero, shaman, hero/shaman gear etc. are inviolable.  So bouncing back is not a problem.

Your post suggests that you are an impatient sort of person in which case this is not the game for you.   I am afraid a salary without substantial additional wealth will not hack it in Vikings:Game of Shopping.

This has far surpassed PAY_to_WIN, this is actually PAY_to_PLAY
