How is that even possible when I was automatically relocated home as soon as the CVC event was over? I was farming Uber tiles at the time but my troops were removed from tiles and I was in HK when the game reconnected. Yet almost 6hrs later was hit by a member of the EK who was not our opponent. They should have been relocated home automatically too. 

same as me was on 15 tiles and was kicked back to my own kingdom got rss to that point credited to me but wish i could have drained them ubers but was not allowed  plarium need to sort out why we were hit in our own kingdom long after cvc was over

Guess what. Its not possible Plarium Vikings War of Clans has "NO GLITCHES" At least thats the standard answer when ever something goes wrong. and people loose rss, shards,gems, shields or anything you might like to name. ITS IMPOSSIBLE.

Or are we all wrong all of the time?

We had one of our clan members who was not automatically relocated back after the CvC and had to use a return this morning, 12 hours later to return to our home kingdom. We also have not received our personal rewards for winning CvC. No Chief rewards, Soul Shards, or Personal achievement awards. Winning does show up under the tasks - bonuses as having won so it is crediting Stronghold boosts. I put in a support ticket already so will be waiting to see if Plarium responds...
