They increase their knowledge by 9B ... 9B x 5 = 45B ...
Not totally unreasonable ...
How much influence did the clan have to start?

Ok, the calculation is already clear to me.
I just did not find any knowledges that could bring that much influence.
They started with 23B influence.

They probably did a number of knowledge upgrades ... and maybe some with gold ... the tier 1 to 5 knowledge upgrades are often done with gold ... the whole clan had 23B influence or one person?
You can pm me the kingdom they are in and clan name and position of their stronghold (if they have one) and I will go look.
But it is not totally unreasonable that they could do this ...

CIM has answered your question along the lines I was thinking of, but in a much better way than my attempt to do so was.
The game doesnt give the cost of later levels,so its not till you reach big updates that you see the potential for points by completeing them.
They tell you what multiplication factor for knowledge competition is,but they dont tell you what number is multiplied.
Also you didnt say how many was in the clan, its far easier to hit big totals if the clan has many members, especially if they have advanced to high game levels.

the knowlege is nothing against the points that you can make with T7 troops!!! There can one make easy 45 billion when he have enough money.
In CVC or KVK can you forgot collecting resources or kill intruders or ghost to get points!
Is like lottery here with the matchmaking.

OK, thanks for the answers.
To CIM:
which clan that was, I do not remember. But it was only one member who made these points.
His starting influence was 15B.
I should probably be clearer:
I'm just looking for a table or similar where the achievable influence values of knowledge are documented.
I realize that much can be achieved with the Shaman knowledge.

I believe there are several websites that contain this kind of information, but do not know how uptodate they are, unfortunately I do not have any saved links.
Wait, isnt there a post on here about such a link, one that says it calculates the cost of everything.
