Try clicking on the link, it wont bite you, or commit  you to anything.

O.K .to save you the bother, and the risk (there is none).

You have to pay them  real money, and then, if you do the new sets of tasks they just introduced, you get a second set of coffers as well as the ones you get for doing the "free" ones, which are not as free as you might think, because you have to do things that probably indirectly cost you real money.

Its an inducement.

Just a little bit more of getting inside you mind and your bill folder than it already is.

Last month, it was 9.99 for me to join. I'm coming up on the end of it later today. I don't know if the cost will be the same or if it will go up.

I've read some mixed, if not, poor reviews about it, but to me it was worth it. I was able to meet pretty much every incentive/goal for daily/weekly/monthly without having to really spend more money to accomplish the goals. I would have spent money regardless.

As far as strategy on how to meet the goals and such, they often line up with competitions and clan battles. I try to wait until there is overlap with comps and the daily/weekly/monthly goals so I can kill 3 birds with one stone if you know what I mean. This way, I'm feeding all of the goals/comps simultaneously without having to expend more energy and resources each and every time.

I tried it. The first day was great. Since then, not worth it.

Plus, it raised my pack prices to quadruple, making me miss the Halloween specials .

I am stuck with no rss, boosts, energy or power, because of this stupid subscription.

It makes me want to quit the game, I am so pissed.

Why in the heck would it raise pack prices?

I don't think it actually raises the pack prices. The prices go up as soon as you buy anything. If you want the prices to come down, you need to wait for a couple of months without buying any packs, then they drop.

Mine cost $20 these days. I personally think they are very worth it and pay for itself by the extra swag you get. ESPECIALLY if you like getting tasks done anyway. Tip, IF you decide to try it.... first time will probably be $5 or $10 wait until the monthlies are halfway through. That way you can ideally get two months of extras for one purchase. Speaking of which, the extras make it MUCH easier to get more of the tasks done which means more swag etc.

Just look for yourself. When you get a daily /weekly/ monthly task done look at the shaded area underneath the ones you'll get. My monthly 5th one will give me 3,120,000 gold, 115 3 day boosts, 4,937 Star Shards, 84 2000 Hero Energy, 44 Clan task refreshers and a few other misc. boosts. They pay for themselves is what I'm trying to get at lol.

Your idea of getting the brotherhood at the time suggested is only going to work for those who can finish it within two weeks.

As to the brotherhood in general.

Unfortunately offers do not work for everyone, they are not always what they seem, like the buy one get one free offers in supermarkets.

If you think it works for you then that's fine, that's how inducements work, just like in the rest of the game.

Well, yes..... I do finish my monthlies in about 2 weeks usually. With the extra boosts and gold it makes it relatively easy... depending on the monthly things to do of course. There have been a couple I couldn't finish in 2 weeks but the vast majority of them I have been able to. Everyone plays the game a little differently of course so your mileage may vary. With getting them midway through a month I at least optimize my CHANCES to finish them both.

What would happen if I’ve finished all of my weekly and monthly tasks and I purchase the northern brotherhood, would I immediately get all The achievement or do I get a new set of weekly and monthly tasks?

You'll get all the ones you've finished already. Quite a pleasant surprise for me. So don't forget to go back and get the "extras". You'll get the tasks themselves refreshed on the usual schedule.
