Which are you trying to harvest?


I have noticed for tiles at, say, 5 or above, the difference is negligible - you really notice the boost below 5, though.


Also remember that 30% of slower (< 5) is a greater elapsed delta than 30% of faster (>= 5). And Plarium's % numbers are a bit of a misnomer. 30% reduction in which part of the formula or part that makes up the total time and rate between dispatch and return is always a mystery. (Thus a 30% reduction in an n9 tile's harvest time seems invisible.)


So, for example, the boost might help me reduce yield time of an alpha iron to under 1h for a safe conduct, while food, lumber, and stone already are, and silver still isn't.


Try sending 10k troops to a tile, without a boost - note the yield time. Then do the same with a boost. e.g. 1-Hour Resource Yielding +50%, or +75%. You should get a sense of how much or how little a +30% or +300% brings you. [Just make sure you send less than will totally yield the tile - else the time shown will show you that time rather than the total for all troops filling up.]
