Uniform time display

Please fix the time zone bugs...


This problem is very old and its nasty! Why Plarium din't fixed that long ago? -


Problem: Wrong time data in Plarium game Throne.

Reason: Different time zones displayed on client-side.

Solution: Use UTC only (or if there are different time codes in use and you can't display uniform time in custom time zones: Label times with time code, so the players will know what it is).



This time formats occurs and confuses ingame (there will be more relevant sections)...

  • UTC: Mail (PM, Reports, System), Order fight reports, Infiltration reports
  • Real Time (MESZ): Chat (Main, Enemy and Order)

Use local time in all time displays everywhere, all the time.


Based on the time zone of the local device, not the public IP.


Players are, and have to become, used to events changing at UTC+0 - it is what it is.


But players play with each other and relative to the game - local time is what matters.
