Apparently this is called 'hyper-shielding'.

Quite common, and one can get very fast on it. Fast enough that you may not even see the blink.

Immediately after clicking send for your attack, press 'B' for boosts.

Either:

• Click Army (lower left), Town Defense, Apply
• Or, Have 8-Hour Inaccessibility at the top of your Favorites. Then it is just 'B', 'Apply'.

People good at it can do it in MUCH less than a second.

Yep. Makes it impossible to hit them. (If they're diligent. And if they're not shielded ... likely a trap.)

This is why ES, Rebel Tower's, and Arena, have become much more significant in the game.

Thank you for explaining. Its exactly how im playing. But this guy is still calling me a cheater. Because i jump to the one i want attack. Now he said i jump to much. No need to say that every jump cost me 3k gold if im out of rolls..... 

If it works for you, use it. Ignore him.

If the game lets you do it, it's not cheating.

If he doesn't like it, he's welcome to stay shielded.
