Getting a player to back off.

For about a month and a half I've had a problem with a player. First off let me say YES, I know this is a war game. Let me just make that clear right now. I play this, Stormfall- Age of War and Dragons of Atlantis; war games. So I am WELL aware of what a war game is and how to fight in one.

But almost two months ago now a smaller player, out of the blue, picked my castle to try and raid. I was on so I put out my def and killed his men. I figured it was over so I logged out and went about my day. I got on later and found that he had fire-bombed me from him and his alt. I fb-ed him back and asked him what his problem was. I'm thinking we fought, he lost, it's over in my book. He came to my castle and got what he got, so oh well.

He didn't really respond, claimed he only spoke Spanish with "No habla English". Which right there made me sketchy because if you truly don't speak English it's, yo no hablo ingles but whatever, plus he's in an English speaking league. I realized he was a jerk and ignored him.

Since then he's been sending raids to my castle and fb-ing me daily. Most of which I was able to block with my cavs or put away men I had built. And his raids are crappy, he sent three thousand pikes to me once. Like for real?

Still this jerk sends stuff to me DAILY! I told him to back off multiple times. I put him up on the league revenge board thing and asked for him and his alt to only be fb-ed. 72 fb's and he still isn't getting it. I moved my castle a day away from both of his, he can't raid without using all of his speed ups so now he fb's everyday. Like come on! You tried it, got your a$$ kicked and keep trying? Give up!

I'm at the point right now where I'm ready to leave the game because it's so dang annoying. What protection do you have against crazy a$$ players like this? Like it's not my fault you didn't get what you wanted so now you're going to spend everyday sending fb's to my castle.

I'm extremely done and need to know how do you handle players like this when nothing works? It's not even playing the game it now feels like harrassment.

Why doesn't Stormfall have some sort of policy against this? Even war has its rules and bylaws so that stuff about it being a war game doesn't really work in this spot. I can't just slap on a protection seal everyday until this moron gets tired and decides this is stupid, so what do I do?

These are complicated issues to deal with no doubt..

I can only suggest to not to communicate with that player nor initiate actions against him ..And hopefully that player gets tired of his mischief.

May be some other player here provides a better advice for you.

Yeah, I have been. It's so annoying though and I know he's trying to be annoying. Even the players in my league are sick of him. Sent 37 fire-bombs to him last time I put him up. I'm just going to keep ignoring him. Maybe he'll get over himself.

My best advice is to use auto catacombs at all times and keep your resources low. dont add defense and dont communicate or hit back. with 0 gains or attention he should get bored and move on. If that does not work, give me his name and coordinates and I will annoy him to draw his attention on me haha

So I ignored that player Calmerio(?) and he still didn't back off. I mean this guy is like nuts or something. Our leagues became a part of the same alliance and he was still attacking me even though we were allies. His league ended up kicking him out. My league came through for me BIG time and the guy is still sending raids. I kind of don't understand what he's trying to do. Am I supposed to be scared or intimidated by him? Is there a way for me to block players like this?

This needs to be addressed and there's like no way to contact someone about this player. You would think after counter-raids and pretty much cursing each other out he would realize this is stupid and go away but he's like a disease that never goes away. I think I even once called him dandruff. I think he's gone for good and all of a sudden he's back.

What's my next step? How do I get this jerk away from me? I can't even enjoy the game any more.

Thanks for your help. He pretty much backed off. He used to send an attack every day but now he tries it once a week. I've been ignoring him like you suggested and waiting for him to just get bored and go away. Meanwhile, I've been building my army so that I can send my league back their troops and just defend my own castle against him. It's not fair that they lose troops because he's a j*rk. Thanks again for your help and your advice!
