Resorting to hacking or related issues to destroy a league.

I am hoping that all Plarium players know what happened to the Marshal of Emperors and her league. I am also hoping that Plarium is ready and able to do something about the person or group of people involved and take them from the game.

Some things are just beyond part of a game and should never be tolerated. As far as my knowledge goes this is at least the second time it has happened and this would be a perfect case to make an example of.

I've always thought of this as just a game and that most people in this game (even my enemies) were decent people (just not to me lol).  Except for a league of scum, you would have to think that in order to have a league, the people in each league are basically decent and friendly people.

Well I think all decent people should agree that hacking someones account is reprehensible.  To do something in the real world, costing someone real money is just the lowest act imaginable in a game.   I am shocked that anyone would do this and the MACE OF BANISHMENT should start swinging at these people along with that sword of IP BLOCKING.  Anyone involved in this should not only be deleted but IP banned from ever entering this game again.

I wonder whats next a drive by shooting?

I agree whole heartedly that Plarium needs to look into this.

When someone is unable to beat the system, they cheat the system.

And this is unfair for everyone. Plarium must go thermonuclear on this issue. Otherwise, good and motivated players may decide to leave the game after spending years on it.

That's horrible and illegal. Plarium will have to address it and I think they will take it seriously. I have only been in the game for about 5 plus months. It makes me mad and it also makes think what IF this happened to me. I would be seriously pursuing all methods of action. If there is anything I can do to assist Mad Frenzie please let me know. I will PM her as well....pretty much most people is this game know each other from what I have seen, and are somewhat of a family. Even families fight from time to time, but to steal, hack, destroy something with monetary value is a crime.

If it was true hacking it would be an incredibly sad day and I am sure everyone would unite in asking for it to be fixed.

As the account was shared and A LOT of people know it was shared, including Emps leadership, occam's razor would suggest we don't have that much pitty. You live by the sword, take all the benefits, you don't get to cry for compensation when it goes wrong.

NO ONE knows my account details. I have played for over 3 yrs here, talked in TS with people for that whole time and consider them friends along side my IRL friends - but I still won't share my account details.

I am playing another game where people are freely giving each other their details. As it happens the details are also your account details for your downloads of full price games from the same developer. By sharing those details you could lose all the games you have bought. There is a huge advantage in that game to having your account "live" 24/7 but I still think it's stupid. You fall out with someone over something silly and boom everything is gone.

Everyone has a right to an opinion. No one has a right to their opinion being respected by other if it can't be backed up with rational and logic explanation

This is the second time I know of that its happened this year.  The first instance of a marshall's account being hijacked happened in August and you can see the details on the thread titled Account Hack 2017 under bug reports.  In that instance, the affected player stated that someone compromised their email account and used that access to lock them out of their Stormfall account.  Plarium was not able to effectively help in recovering the account and ruled that they were not responsible because the system that was compromised was the player's email, which is outside Plarium's control.  The player did eventually get his account back with the aid of friends and collegues pressuring the hijacker to return it.

While I can understand Plarium's stance of claiming they are not responsible for compromises of a 3rd party, I do think they need to give us tools to better protect ourselves.  Anyone who compromises your email can exploit Plarium's password reset to lock you out of your account.  If Plarium gave us an option for multi-factor authentication, such as sending a code to your mobile device that would have to be verified prior to allowing any log in from a different IP or any change to your account info it would simultaneously give us better tools to protect our accounts and make account sharing much harder.

With the current incident, Plarium did state on the forum that Frenzie's account was hacked.  The investigation is still ongoing.

Well, if there is evidence and proof, publish it? Just pointing fingers and rumors, just lead to things like pizzagate in real life.

I will be very surprised if someone doesn't give you 1 year ban for libel.

With that statement alone you've broken so many rules, you deserve to be banned forever.

If Plarium doesn't ban you, then they are admitting that you are controlling them, in making decisions. Or they are admitting that what you uttered is true.

I will be waiting to see what happens to you.

Just because something isn't a lie does not mean that it isn't deceptive. A liar knows that he is a liar, but one who speaks mere portions of truth in order to deceive is a craftsman of destruction.....Gedleyihlekisa: Oracle the postremogeniture

oracle.... always jumping at his defense.

For plarium to fairly ban me, they have to prove me wrong. to prove me wrong they have to show who hacked/accessed the account, which  i dont think will prove me wrong. Everything i say, i say in goodfaith to be true.   thats not libel.

i can tell you what plarium knows.  i can also tell you, i wont be banned for this. i dont control plarium. but i know who controls frenzies account.
