my farm production is way off for the 6 higher level farms
when I go to look at the town hall it brings up the contruction link.

I have 6 farms level 22, the one time my town hall showed instead of the construction window, was 504 food per hour
when I try to open town hall, it opens the construction window, not the town hall window
no action attempted on food production, just pathetic low production number
the only action is trying to open town hall and getting construction
windows 7 - IE 11
If I understood you correctly, the "Details" tab opens when you click on the Town Hall.
It's not a bug. This is the main tab of the Town Hall and it has to be opened by a click on the Town Hall.

I am not sure this helps but would food consumption reduce the production that shows in your town hall? Mine shows production for half of what it should be but i have boosts running - I usually run negative food production but have a +25% and -50% and level 15 paragon and 25% in my dragon stone - if I had none of that running I would be running a very high negative in food production regardless of my level 26 farms
