I think you need to fully Enlighten to get to level 40 and 50, but a Phantom is probably not worth upgrading - every failed spy mission would stun it for 5-6 days
Maybe that is your problem - check to see if it is stunned

All of my best champions are stuck at level 30/30 for now so are useless in tournaments

I only found 5 Epic Bonds and they were all wasted, giving low grade champions

I refuse to waste any Emerald buying Epic Bonds because they normally give Grade 2 or 3 (Grade 4 must be 5% drop rate)
We can get Grade 1, 2 and 3 for free from Basic Bonds

I will never spend money buying Holy Bonds from Special Offers because Grade 5 drops are too rare
