He should start at 2 then going from 3 to 4 to 1 and finally back to 2 the he will finish

Assuming he can start at maze 2, he has to go through the maze to get to  the outer rings of maze 3 to 4 to 1 to get to safety.

Lord Oberon should start at the centre of 2 and use the route to reach the entrance towards 3 and from there take the perimeter route of 3 to reach the entrance towards 4 and use the perimeter route of 4 and reach the entrance of 1 and take the perimeter route of 1 to reach the entrance of 2 and  then take the right route that leads into the trees.
