why such a discrepancy in the price of the same article?

One of my allies has a stash of articles Stymphalos 5. He can sell each of them in Ephorate for 3x7k res.

If he sends them to another player, he is able to sell for 3x11k, which is a pretty good way to get a balanced amount of res.

But if he sends to me, it is only 3x2k?

why such a difference?

does it depend on a player level or Ephorate?

Are you saying it only depends on the level of Ephorate?

It doesn't look like that.

As fo "give a guy" - we have for a guy, too. Unfortunately, the abandoned cities do not have enough bronze and wood.

It depends of your city's current  production of resources, they more developed your Lumberyards, Forges and Farms are, the more resources for selling Stymphalos 5 you get.  Player  with 25 lvl  Lumberyards, Forges and Farms  will get more for selling stymphalos 5 than player with lvl 20 of Lumberyards, Forges and Farms.

Which also means that you'll  get more for selling Stymphalos 5 when you have all possible resource production boosts active (hall of xenia, items, phylarch bonuses etc.) and dominion active helps too.

It should depend on player level as far as I remember.

It has nothing to do with lvl, only current resource production. Just look at screens I provided in my previous post and do math.

Thank you for kind words! But I still keep learning new things too, often with big help of more experienced players than myself :) That keeps game still interesting, even though I often catch myself thinking "oh, if only i knew that sooner" :)
