Development race tournament points?

I want to know if the game cheated me  at the last development race tournament.

I did different building upgrades. I recorded how many points for each upgrade.Buildings that used NO upgrade sketches got MORE race points than buildings that used upgrade sketches.  I dont understand. For example

I did forge level 16. Cost  about 30k resources +  NO upgrade sketches  =  1152 development race points.

I did Temple of Hephaestus level 6  -I had the mission at the same time.  Cost  about 50k resources + 550 upgrade sketches = only 266 points.

How can a building that cost more resources and alot of upgrade sketches  get very few points? But a building that cost few resources or only resources  get many more tournament points?

I feel cheated by that result, especially because I used much time, resources, upgrade sketches to finish on time  If a building upgrade costs upgrade sketches -almost 5500 gold drachmas in value at regular price- then the upgrade sketch race points should be MUCH MORE.

I am very angry

I've never bothered to do the math, but it's my general impression that it's the time that it takes to complete a building or agreement upgrade that is the major parameter in the number of tournament points received. But I could be wrong :-).

If Time taken is most important thing then they should declare this in the tournament description. It is not honourable to hide this things
