Could not complete action. please try again

The game was working perfect from a hotel. Then I traveled to  a different town and in the hotel I have problem to start the game. When it is reaching 100% the "Could not complete action. Try again later message coming up. I deleted the browser, restarted the computer and got the same message.

Come on...2016 Germany, good wifi connection, what is hapenning?

Which Browser do you use? 

I would suggest you to try on some other browser or clean caches ad history..if nothing helps report it to our Support Team.

I'm using Explorer which was working fine in a different hotel. I cleaned the cache, restarted but I received the same message.

This is also happening in the United States. I was in my city working on some items, and I got the "Could Not Complete Action" please clear your browsers cache message. This was about 9:30 PM EST USA. I tried clearing the cache several times, tried another browser, rebooted the computer and cleaned the cache again, and tried the other browser again, and tried several different computers with different browsers, and another internet service provided.  All give the same error message.


I was finally able to complete a support ticket, but this is getting ridiculous Plarium.  What happened this time?

We had a server maintenance yesterday at 02:30 PM UTC. I guess that's exactly 09:30 PM EST USA. Are you still unable to log in?

I have not been able to log in all night, and it is now 6:30 AM EST USA, and I am getting the same error message and cannot log in . Exactly the same. Someone needs to fix this. No responses to my support requests. I think this will do it for me as far as trying to play this game.

Could not complete action, please try again later, almost 30 min now.

Cleared everything.

Asked in slack (yes we use other than game chat because game chat currently sux) and at least one other person has same issue.

But the players already logged in are not having issues. I recommended them to not log off and try raid enemies because I guess other people might have log in issues as well :)


Oh well.

Just put this complaint of mine in the pile and don't reply "all good archon".

Ok Plarium...locked out of the game 13 hours now, and no reply from support at all. You take my money that I throw at this game, and I get nothing back for service.  The way I understand it is about a 1/4 of the players cannot get into Sparta, or when they do get in, they can't do anything at all, not even chat, because all kinds of error boxes go up.


If I lose troops because of this, Plarium will be replacing them free of charge.  This is on you Plarium. Fix what you broke, and no lame excuses please.

Refresh your game (i mean consider changing) :)

I tried around 10 hours ago, tried again now but same error.

Fix it guys come on. You have money i guess, hire an IT specialist damn it :)

Also experiencing this problem.  First noted the problem when I was dropped from Sparta around 6:30 AM CST.  Could not access the game again.  Can access the two other games, Stormfall and Soldiers, that I play so it is Sparta specific.  Have tried all the recommended fixes and none worked.

I've been locked out for about 19 hours now. I managed to log in once after about a hundred attempts, but could do nothing, I kept getting errors no matter what I was trying to do. I live in central US. Tried all the fixes and multiple browsers. Nothing seems to work.

I've also been experiencing the same error sine this morning. Haven't been able to log in up to now despite clearing my cache and restarting the browser several different times. Please fix this issue.

Messaging from Western Canada, I run a coalition and I have been down for about 24 hours now. Naturally...NO answers...NO help...I am going to lose my 70 day log in bonus, my armies and territories, and you will give me nothing for it...This is totally unacceptable! Please STOP THE SERVER CLOCK at when these issues first surfaced! Give us a chance here...


Plarium, this is a very disrespectful way to treat the FEW paying customers that you have. Good luck getting another red cent from them if you do not make EVERYTHING up to them...

i am now at 23 hours without being able to log into my game. By all accounts, i have lost 200 days of consistent playing the Sparta game. Not to mention that my city probably has been raided and sieged by now, and troops that i am building will be lost in the process. Plarium, you will pay for this, you will, just get that in your head right now.


Fix your problem that you caused, and allow us to get back online to tend to our game.  You want customers for your game, but you treat them terribly. I have heard nothing to two inquiries about this situation. Your customer support is nothing short of being non-existent.  Very Shameful attitude.
