Change how "WAR" works

Hi,

since beginning of time we have a very strange situation - if we want to start a WAR with other coalition - they have to accept it. In my opinion its one of the stupiest things that there are as it makes WAR not possible as always coalition that is attacked and probably loose more  wont accept it.

Thus coalitions that want to get points for being at WAR have to cheat. Also it takes a lot of fun from the game as we have challenge any way, but no way to be at WAR.

My suggestion: WAR can be started by any coalition and closed only when both sides agree upon it (or after some period of time/inactivity).

Make WAR a WAR! Let us fight even more and with purpose!

Unfortunately, we are not planning to make changes to War. It was designed on purpose.

No one in our coalition seems to know what is the purpose of declaring war then. Could you please give a hint?

well maybe it is good thing that you must agree on war before stronger opponent roll over you.

In real life you don't have such option, and should be grateful you are not on other side which is being attacked for example by US military for some very dodgy and shady reason

I have to agree with Ritmas. The way the war initiation mechanism works is silly and the explanations for why it is so are not adequate.

Real War only requires one party to initiate... So in reality there is no War in "War of Empires" just friendly challenges?

Yea, sort of...

The real war that remains is the "succion war" led by plarium against all players by sucking our wallets dry

As its been some time and mod couldnt answer to a questions about reasons why starting a war was made in such a way - i'll try to give my thoughts on this.

1. When game was created  - Plarium cared more about "balance" and tried to make game in such a way that players woudnt be crushed.

2. Now Plarium ideology changed as they try to squeeze as much money from paying players as they can and totally doesnt care about  those who dont pay (just +50% to off/def boost says it all). Thus there are actually no reasons for starting a WAR to be in such a way.

3. That is way i was offering my idea that starting a WAR could be done by one coalition - it would go with new Plariums strategy to squeeze more money as people who personally get attacked or attack someone will spend more money and buy more stuff.

Thank you for not changing it. War's are to make coalitions pay for what they did and not give them  points for Battle of Champion title. Like are coalition been at war with strondhold but we will not use Plariums War action because they will get a title from are attacks and that is not paying for what they did.

P.S. If any change to Plariums War action is that there should be just one winner and they get the points , the other coalition would have lost the war and be disbanded making them pay for going to war. o and memberships to both coalitions in war should be lock to keep coalitions from having other player jumping in.

I say the same as wire the war thing is good the way it is. This is a war game we are all at war to start with but a war started by 2 coalitions should end with one getting to stay and the other being disband. I would love it if they let us go to real war locked membership up so you can leave the coalitions but not join and go at it in tell they disband or if they drop 50% of there member it is automatic  lost and there coalition is disbanded. If they will do that it would be a real war and not some fake war where there is 2 winners.

You're so strict, guys

We can't disband Coalitions for losing wars. Players work hard to achieve their goals together, and many Coalitions become more than just friends. They become a family. I'm not sure that they will support the idea of disbanding the Coalition for losing a War.

I think that vacuum needs hose attachment, so plarium can get really deep into wallets.  Dyson have nothing on plarium suction power!
