the new update from plarium play launcher kills all firewalls on operation system

hello , sorry for the new topic , but one problem is fixed , but a greater problem comes !!

the latest update (22.04.2020) for "plarium play launcher" (windows) solves the "no games played" problem to start for example "war of empires" but this update destroyed any "firewall" on windows systems !!

this is absolutely NO GO AREA for me !!!

windows own firewall = dead !!

other firewall from one other virus-program = dead !!

after i checked what exactly happend: one or more services on windows were completely destroyed and not runing. one of them : basic filter module. no chance to can reactivate it.

for this reason i can abdicate of any game .... for me it is important to have an secure system , because in WWW are enough "hacker" alone they made your life hard.

additional info :

after a set a new "recovery" on my system to repair the firewall section and plarium play launcher did not work , i decide to ´de-install launcher ,i don't install it again , that firewall keep working

which anti-virus/firewall provider are you using? I use eset NOD32 and am getting no issues?

i use a german company named "G Data Cyberdefense" , i have ful trust on their programs , they have a high virus find quote and no problems with the functionality.

but this program is ful guiltless about the firewall problems. runs with the same services of windows firewall.

now , without the launcher all services runs 100%

I'm having the same issue. I have tried everything I can think of. I even completely wiped my system and reinstalled Windows 7. Everything worked fine untill I loaded the game and lost Firewall again.

I'm running the windows firewall and Microsoft Security Essentials.
