11 New Alien Vs Predator Units!

Make AVP Clones In Your Weyland Lab!

I’d like to bring your attention to the new Alien Vs Predator Units. Any player who has completed the first part of the AVP Tutorial is able to create Xenomorph (Alien) and Yautja (Predator) clones in their Weyland Laboratory. There is also a Weyland Surveillance Quadcopter that can be built there.

To get these new extraterrestrial Units, go to your Weyland Laboratory interface by clicking on the lab in your Base, or by clicking on the button at the bottom left corner of your game window, and go to the “Clones” tab. You’ll need Artifacts - a new Resource - to make each clone. You can collect Artifacts yourself by engaging Excavation Sites with your clone Units, or you can get private contractors to excavate them for you from the “Artifacts” tab of your Weyland Laboratory interface.

IMPORTANT: Unlike your regular Units, these Units can NOT be revived at the Black Market or the Hospital. Syndicate does not have the medical technology to deal with non-human revival.

The AVP clone Units differ from regular Units in a number of important ways. Firstly, they’re a whole new class of Units. While some are better suited to offense and some to defense, they are more well-rounded than your regular troops. As a containment precaution, you’ll only be able to build these Units for a limited time - until the demolition of the temple. Watch the countdown over the Weyland button to keep track of how much time remains.

Good luck, Commander.

Apart from that this alien crap is  completely not nessecary and Im not wasting time or even money on that , my flash player is unplayable slow since that stuff was added. No matter what I do with updating, restart computer, restart browser , clear cache stuff. after 2 minutes It is slow as hell and not useable.

anyone else have that too ?

AVP of all the directions this game could have gone I think this is the most disappointing. If there were but a single option I would like to have it would be the ability to turn everything off related to AVP. Maybe then the response time would come back to its old sluggish self.

On a 10 point scale (10 being the most positive) AVP gets a 1 (one).

Sorry guys, but I will not invest anything into AVP.

Allow me to answer some things on behalf of Mr Black.

The developers are aware of the lag and flash crashes, the issue is within the games code and it is just hard for them to narrow down however they are making progress I promise :) In the meantime turn off in-game animations please and see if that helps

This was a test for Plarium as a company to try and work along side other franchises, they may not have done the development behind it correctly however I do know that they are trying to branch the company out which can involve taking risks... for better or worse.

Players do have a vote in what gets added to the game, however the players suggestions need to run through multiple layers of people starting with mods/admins. Plarium is actively listening to suggestions and feedback however when it comes to development priority it may sometimes take a back seat if only a few ask for X suggestion to happen.

Mehn...  What Plarium and Admin continually fail to understand is that those of us who do visit the forum represent an exponential number of players.  With all of the talk that goes on within our own combines and combine-to-combine you can be sure that there is a consensus as to the opinions and ideas expressed here.  It's not just a handful of posters expressing their displeasure, ideas and opinions.  With Plarium's track record, every "improvement/upgrade" is met with a sense of loathing and leaves us wondering what has been screwed up now.

I completely agree that in general the forums are pretty accurate as to what the community wants. I have made some suggestions myself which have had a pretty decent amount of people behind it. I am not going to sit around and pretend Plarium is perfect because no company/person is however it would be suicidal for them not to take into account the general consensus. I can promise you that feedback is taken into account, the main issue is that the majority of players dont directly voice their opinions, having it through 1 person typically wont work unfortunately.
