Units will Not Be Dismissed!

Units will Not Be Dismissed

When You Lack The Rations To Maintain Them!

SYNDICATE SECRET MESSAGE

Commander!

Syndicate R&D has issued a new line of food replacement pills! They’ll keep your Troops going when Rations run out, and buy you time until the next airlift.

From now on, if you don’t have enough Rations to support your Troops, they won't die or desert you. You can use your Resources to hire all the Troops you need, and they’ll never leave you for lack of Rations.

Remember that Troops still consume Resources, so monitor your Resource Production. While you’ll never have less than 0 Resources, your Units may use up Resources faster than you can produce them. Prevent this by constructing and upgrading all Field Kitchens and Landing Zones!

@John Black (11 September, 2015, 9:34 AM UTC):
If they completely remove the use for rations, can't we just employ them 24/7 to completely remove rations from this cycle?

Or do they have long term effects which make them dangerous as a long term food supply, but are safe in small doses? ;)

i heard someone say that if you run out of rations your troops no longer desert but go to the bunker and no longer fight for you.

is that true?

If not, it would be a good thing to implement, imho.

As far as I'm aware, they stay right where they are.

How does this improve on the game other than to once again give advantages to those that are big time coiners or very high level payers. Having troop counts directly tied to and affected by ration production/ consumption gives everyone a level playing field and does not allow for people to build massive, unlimited armies.  What do the developers think is going to happen when players have all building upgrades done and all contracts maxed out - all of their rations will only be required to produce new troops. Giving people the ability to have unlimited troops is a ridiculous idea. This is advantageous only to coiners, proving once again that all Plarium cares about is taking your money.

 The developers are saying that anytime you need to hire more troops simply go into your reserves.   What they failed to mention is that every time you need to upgrade a building or do more research you also have to dip into your reserve supplies.  Reserve supplies are not cheap.   I spend real money on the game in moderation however I do not want to dip into my diamond supply every time I want to do more research or upgrade a building or higher more troops.  I have only been playing the game for seven days and I am beginning to see that there will be no way for me to get out of the red in my supply line other than by attacking my  Army into another player and taking losses when I don't plan to.   I know this is a new game and a game of Numbers,  but the numbers for running a positive  supply line are becoming most frustrating for me.   I have played many of these types of games in the past and running a  successful economy is something I always enjoy doing.  My supplier of my supply line is failing me and soldiers Inc. One solution is to offer some gears that can help with your economy.   Another solution is simply to  tweak the numbers so that you get more production out of your production facilities.   Another option is you should be able to simply dismiss troops.  Truth is there are many options they only need to be implemented.  I don't know if this balance of supply will be a gamebreaker for me I will give it about another week to find out however I will not spend  another dime to find out.

Why? You can use them to get XP, Rankings Points, or S&D rewards. Why would anyone dismiss them?

Frogs live in marshy places, Zandia is a desert ... so they eat horned vipers, beetles, thorny devils, lizards, scorpions, crotals, snakes, etc.
