What are the green bars under the icon for strategic units?

Commander...those green bars are the defensive strength of the Strategic unit against the designated type of unit they may be used against..for example the F-32 "Excaliber" when sent with the proper type of supporting units.in this case the Mohawk or Thunderheads are the units they would "boost".,they are the strongest and perform the best against lt. infantry units and choppers....but the weakest against heavy infantry ant tanks..Strategic units can be lost the same as other units So use them wisely and always with the proper supportive units

They are also for Offensive strength for the Offense units.
