New Update: Version 8.30.0

With update 8.30.0, we’re adding new Progress Missions, new Area Bonuses at the Great Hall, and a Battle Counter in Classic Arena, as well as rebalancing Champions and much more! See the full breakdown below.

New Progress Missions

We’re adding new Progress Missions to reflect all the awesome content we’ve added to the game in the past year or so.

There are 180 new Missions coming, focused on Hard Mode Dungeons, Live Arena, Cursed City, and more! You’ll be able to get your hands on rewards for finishing each Mission, with milestone rewards coming after completing 60, 120, and all 180 Missions. Completing all of these new Missions will give you a new free Void Legendary Champion - Marius the Gallant!

Marius the Gallant

Rarity: Legendary

Type: DEF

Affinity: Void

Faction: Skinwalkers

Note: You can complete Ramantu Missions and Marius Missions simultaneously, but only after completing all of the Arbiter Missions. 

New Area Bonuses

We have expanded the Area Bonuses feature of the Great Hall! Now, you can also get stat boosts in Faction Wars, the Doom Tower, the Iron Twins Fortress, the Sand Devil's Necropolis, the Phantom Shogun's Grove, and the Cursed City.

Battle Counter

We’re adding a Battle Counter to the Classic Arena. It will show you how many Offense Battles you need to complete in order to stay in your current Arena Tier after the Ranking Period ends.

Note: Staying in Platinum Tier requires Arena Points, and is therefore not dependent on the number of battles initiated.

Inbox Sorting

We’re also adding a new Sorting option to the Inbox. From now on, you can sort items by the date they were received, or by their expiration date.

Renaming Rathalos Set

We have renamed and redesigned the Rathalos Set into the Slayer Set, and Rathalos Material into Slayer Scales, following the end of our collaboration with the Monster Hunter franchise. Any existing Gear or materials will be converted, and any converted resources from the collaboration will be compatible with the newly-named resources. The balance of the Gear Set will remain the same.

Little Miss Annie

[Skill 1 – Pretty Nails]

- Skill changed.

Old version: Attacks 1 enemy 3 times. Each hit has a 50% chance of placing a 100% [Heal Reduction] debuff for 2 turns.

New version: Attacks 1 enemy 3 times. Each hit has a 50% chance of placing a 100% [Heal Reduction] debuff and a 60% [Decrease DEF] debuff for 2 turns.

[Skill 2 – Hollow Doll]

- Skill changed.

Old version: Attacks 1 enemy 2 times. Places a 50% [Increase ATK] buff on this Champion for 2 turns before attacking if the target is under a [Shield] buff. Will ignore 25% of the target's DEF if the target is under a [Shield] buff. 

Places a [Perfect Veil] buff on this Champion for 2 turns if this attack kills an enemy.

Fills this Champion's Turn Meter by 30% if this attack does not kill the target.

New version: Attacks 1 enemy 2 times. Before attacking, places a 50% [Increase ATK] buff on this Champion for 2 turns. Will ignore 25% of the target's DEF. 

Also places a [Perfect Veil] buff on this Champion for 2 turns.

Then, fills this Champion's Turn Meter by 30%.

[Skill 3 – Playdate]

- Skill changed.

Old version: Attacks 1 enemy. Will ignore 25% of the target's DEF if the target has higher DEF than this Champion. Destroys the target's MAX HP by 25% of the damage inflicted if the target has higher MAX HP than this Champion.

Will repeat attack a second time if the target has both higher DEF and higher MAX HP than this Champion.

New version: Attacks 1 enemy. Will ignore 25% of the target's DEF. Destroys the target's MAX HP by 25% of the damage inflicted.

Will repeat the attack if the target has both higher DEF and higher MAX HP than this Champion.

Also places a [Revive On Death] buff on this Champion for 2 turns if this attack kills an enemy.

[Skill 5 – Magical Heart [P]]

- Skill changed.

Old version: Each hit has a 50% chance of decreasing the target's Turn Meter by 5% and a 100% chance of destroying the target's MAX HP by 5% of the damage inflicted when attacking enemies under [Heal Reduction] debuffs.

Also heals this Champion by 5% of the damage inflicted when attacking enemies under [Heal Reduction] debuffs.

[Will not heal from damage inflicted by Masteries]

New version: Each hit has a 50% chance of decreasing the target's Turn Meter by 10% and a 100% chance of destroying the target's MAX HP by 10% of the damage inflicted when attacking enemies under [Heal Reduction] or [Decrease DEF] debuffs.

Also heals this Champion by 10% of the damage inflicted when attacking enemies under [Heal Reduction] or [Decrease DEF] debuffs.

[Will not heal from damage inflicted by Masteries]


Supreme Athel

[Skill 1 – Exemplar of Stoicism]

- Damage multiplier increased.

[Skill 2 – Cold Company]

- Skill changed.

Old version: Attacks all enemies. Will ignore [Strengthen], [Ally Protection] and [Unkillable] buffs on enemies under a [Freeze] debuff. 

Then, has a 100% chance of placing a [Freeze] debuff for 1 turn.

New version: Attacks all enemies. Before attacking, has a 100% chance of placing a [Freeze] debuff for 1 turn.

Will ignore [Strengthen], [Ally Protection] and [Unkillable] buffs, as well as 20% of the target's DEF when attacking enemies under a [Freeze] debuff.

- Damage multiplier increased.

[Skill 3 – Ever Faithful]

- Skill changed.

Old version: Places a 50% [Increase ATK] buff, a 30% [Increase C. RATE] buff and a [Shield] buff on this Champion for 3 turns, then grants an Extra Turn. The value of the [Shield] is proportional to this Champion's ATK.

New version: Places a 50% [Increase ATK] buff, a 30% [Increase C. RATE] buff, a [Shield] buff, and a 50% [Increase ACC] buff on this Champion for 3 turns, then grants an Extra Turn. 

The value of the [Shield] is proportional to this Champion's ATK.


Siegfrund the Nephilim, Base Form

[Skill 1 – Excoriating Edge]

- Damage multiplier increased.

[Skill 2 – Seraphic Wave]

- Damage multiplier increased.

[Skill 3 – Rage of the Nephilim]

- Skill changed.

Old version: Attacks 1 enemy. Will attack all remaining enemies with any surplus damage if the initial target is killed. 

Fully heals this Champion if the initial hit kills an enemy.

New version: Attacks 1 enemy. Ignores 50% of the target's DEF. Will attack all remaining enemies with any surplus damage if the initial target is killed. 

Fully heals this Champion if the initial hit kills an enemy.

- Damage multiplier increased.

[Skill 5 – Stay the Blade [P]]

- Skill changed.

Old version: If this Champion is about to get killed by a fatal hit, blocks incoming damage and places a [Block Damage] buff on this Champion for 1 turn. 

Then, heals this Champion by 50% of their MAX HP and fills their Turn Meter by 100%.

New version: If this Champion is about to get killed by a fatal hit, blocks incoming damage and places a [Block Damage] buff on this Champion for 2 turns. 

Then, heals this Champion by 50% of their MAX HP and fills their Turn Meter by 100%.


Siegfrund the Nephilim, Alternate Form

[Skill 3 – Light of the Beyond]

- Skill changed.

Old version: Revives all dead allies with 50% HP and 50% Turn Meter, then places a [Block Damage] buff on all allies except this Champion for 1 turn.

New version: Revives all dead allies with 50% HP and 50% Turn Meter, then places a [Block Damage] buff on all allies for 2 turns.

Other improvements and battle fixes

Improvements:

- When summoning 10 Champions or Souls, or crafting 10 Artifacts, Tournament Points will now be shown after everything has been displayed.

Fixes:

- Fixed a bug that caused Acelin the Stalwart’s Behold the Banner skill to be instantly activated when someone attempted to revive allies, even if all allies were already alive.

- Fixed a bug that caused a healing loop when the passive skills of Amius the Lunar Archon’s Base Form and Ultimate Deathknight activated in the same battle.

- Fixed a bug that caused Zinogre Blademaster’s Zinogre Essence skill to prevent death when receiving fatal damage from debuffs.

- Fixed a bug that caused Countess Lix’s Mire of Misery skill to not attempt to place debuffs on each hit.

- Fixed a visual bug that caused the Total Damage to display incorrectly when hitting the Hydra with Ally Attack skills.

- Karnage the Anarch’s skill descriptions now mention that damage is based on both ATK and ACC.

- Fixed a bug that caused players to be unable to participate in a CvC Tournament if they had started Stage 1 of the Sewers of Arnoc when CvC matchmaking had begun.

- Fixed a bug that caused the “Possible drops from Stage” window to not close correctly.

- Fixed a visual bug that caused no rewards to be displayed after finishing a Battle in various game modes.

- Fixed a bug that caused a Glyph to be unusable after reworking a piece of Gear.

- Fixed a visual bug that caused Shard and Event icons over the Portal in the Bastion to display incorrectly.

- Fixed a visual bug that caused the Rathalos Set in Gear Storage to display incorrectly.

- Fixed a bug that caused a purchase error message to appear when minimizing the game right after making a purchase via Google Play.

- Fixed a visual bug that, in certain offers in the Shop, caused a Champion icon to display incorrectly and not direct players to the Index when tapped.

- Fixed a bug that caused Team Setup instructions to stop working when a Champion in the Team Setup reached Max Level during a Multi-Battle sequence.

- Updated the description of the Zeal Set.

TLDR:

They've added more rewards to encourage grinding in the all the new crap nobody wants to grind in. Added more Kraken/Whaler pacifiers and bonuses to pay to avoid playing to earn. And anything that benefitted players who don't pay has been nerfed once again.

I'm sick of being screwed on ALL SHARDS. Especially Void, 99% are crappy Rare that are expendible. Crystal and Primal are almost impossible to get. And all these summon boosts NEVER panout. I CANNOT PAY for extra shards. I don't know how many years it's going to take to get Remnants. Ugh.....

I agee on the shards being a little fustrating, but be a little patient and the champs come but keep at it. at least thats whaty I'm hoping will happen. Upgrading artifacts and getting silver is also really frustrating sometimes.

Be patient ... as if ... I'm with Individualsoul 100%.  I pull better when there is no summon boost. That pull isn't much to speak of anyway.  And then 84 soul stones rained crap after crap after crap so it isn't like buying is worth it at all.
