Raid Digest (16.12.22)

It feels like sand running through the fingers - the other two weeks left behind. It's “that time” again - time for our regular publication - #RaidDigest.

Winter holidays are coming: it is cold outside; we become more and more inclined to spend time at home, with a warm cup of tea, playing a game and listening to how Taras the Fierce is playing a particular song on his kobza — or we can just take a nap. Yeah, there was much talk about Sleep in the last few days. Savvy?

The first part of our Digest will be dedicated to a sleepy guy, beast Al-Naemeh, a creature that came from the desert sands. Some of you have already visited its creepy Dungeon, haven’t you?

How does Warmaster work against the new Boss - the Al-Naemeh

There is one inaccuracy in the description of Al-Naemeh’s Passive Skill [Dreamless Sleep] that we want to comment on, namely, the part where it is stated that whenever the Al-Naemeh is HIT, its Slumber counter is decreased by 1. The word "hit' might be misleading as Al-Naemeh's Slumber counter gets decreased whenever he receives Damage. We’ll change the description of the Skill to make it sound clear.

Let’s move to the Mastery Warmaster itself. “Warmaster” is essentially not a hit, it is a bonus Damage that’s why it works against Al Naemeh to decrease his Slumber counter.

And that's why the Warmaster does not count as a hit on the Fireknight - simply because it is not.

Brimstone

Some players were asking if the Al-Naemeh was immune to Brimstone too, when he does not sleep. Yes, he is still immune to receiving all debuffs, including Smite/Brimstone. However, as soon as the Boss falls asleep, you'll be able to place Smite debuff on him.

Nasty bugs

Talking about the bugs. Battles sometimes may start on Auto even when “start on Auto” is not enabled. The issue happens randomly on the Clan Boss Demon Lord, in the Arena battles, and throughout the game. We’re investigating this to catch the annoying bug and fix it in the future.

Another bug that is gonna get fixed is a visual glitch that occurs when applying Perfect Veil / Veil buff. Sometimes the visual removal/application of this effect does not work - Champions might be visible in the battle. Do not worry, in fact, they cannot be chosen as a target of an enemy Champion’s Skill even though it looks like the Veil did not work. We’ll fix this deviation in one of the next releases.

QoL adjustments: disable camera movement

Next year we will start with the release of a couple of useful QoL adjustments, for example, it will become possible to disable camera movement when dealing critical damage. This feature will be optional.

Also, we’ll keep releasing Champion rebalances with every big update, in small portions, to ensure that more and more Heroes leave the Vault to show in the battle their updated abilities and help conquer new challenges.

CvC Tournament and Personal Rewards

The next CvC Tournament - the last in 2022 - will not feature Personal rewards.

Christmas is coming soon…

We’re a week from the most beautiful time of the year - Christmas. Sir Nicholas is busy wrapping gifts to bring them to all Raiders' accounts on Christmas Eve. Every Raider deserves a little magic at Christmas ; )

Thank you for your attention, stay safe, and have a fantastic weekend!

Poison and hp burn ticks do not reduce counter, so you'll make another clearly wrong description.

If you have to make up a story, please make it at least hold together. It doesn't matter whether we do or don't believe you. If you change description to the one you intend to, another Plarium employee will get a bugreport about wrong description. Once this happens, Plarium may commit to another "bugfix", this time adjusting behaviour to the description... making poison and hpburn reduce the counter. Nobody needs that.
