Dear Raiders! Hope you’re doing great! Spring is almost over and the very first summer month is knocking on the door with the new portion of news. Happy Friday, let’s get comfortable - it is time for #RaidDigest. 

Before we dive into the features that June brings, let me comment on a couple of things that were added to the game with the previous update. 

  1. Mission 305 (Get 5 stats improved to max with 5*+ glyph). With the release of version 4.30, we’ll fix the bug with earned points for maxed-out substats not being counted towards the mission progression. For now, we are trying to complete the Mission manually for those players that would have closed the mission successfully if it hadn't been for the bug. We are doing it gradually, pulling out the IDs of those who are eligible for this manual completion from our database. Please check your Missions tab before 4.30  if you are one of these players. And last but not least, the mission is non-retroactive, which means it has to be completed only after it is opened. 
  2. Other Missions that call for some clarification - “Summon 3 Champions from Fragments” and “Summon 1 Champion from Fragments”. Those particular missions are retroactive which means that it will be counted if it had been completed before the Mission became active. However, there is one important thing to mention: they are retroactive since the moment of the first release of new Missions (4.20). 
  3. Classic Arena. We're carefully monitoring the current situation in the Classic Arena after the recent changes in matchmaking, namely tweaking the matchmaking in Bronze and Silver Tiers, and we continue working towards our goal - to make the Classic Arena and Arena-related Missions fun and possible to progress. Thank you very much for constantly leaving your feedback on our social networks, Forum, and Discord!  


Let’s move to the features that 4.30 patch release, which is planned for the beginning of the next month, will bring:

  1. Team Presets. This is a long-awaited QoL feature that will allow you to select and save teams for your PvE and PvP battles! Moreover, you’ll be able to predetermine the behaviour of your Champions on Auto by tweaking their Skills prioritization. 
  2. Auto-battle improvements. We’re adding a checkbox so that you could start a battle on both Arenas and on the Clan Boss on Auto. This setting will be optional so it is up to you to decide where you start your battles on Auto or in a manual mode. 
  3. Sorting Champions by Rarity! This filter will be available in the Tavern, in your Collection, and also when selecting Champions for the battle. 
  4. Update! In the AMA session on Reddit, we said that x10 summon button for Voids is coming up in 4.30. However, because of certain technical specifics, we had to move the release of this one to 4.40 patch.

And, I almost forgot, the next Fusion is coming...no, it is not coming next week. A bit later. Follow our social media - we’ll tell you about the next Fusion Champion very soon. For now, we know that he is broad-shouldered and fierce despite his short stature.

Will this update impact recent fixes for AI, like Coldheart not wasting heartseeker on the Fire Knight's shield, but prioritizing her A1?  If we leave AI on original will it work as fixed?  If we change the priorities at all does it still avoid the sheild or is that a downside of adjusting CH's AI in fire knight? The AI change is simple if you just want to have Shazar use A1 on CB, but something like this can't be factored in from the screenshots we have seen. I've seen this asked in a lot of comments on videos and forums, so this would be quite helpful to clarify.  Thank you.

Looking forward to being able to prioritize attacks. If you have Alure, she will now be a fire knight game breaker since she can be set to only use her A1 and not waste time with her A2 and A3. Also, I think Jotun might be useful in clan boss. His AI currently sucks but this should fix it.

3. Classic arena 

Back to the drawing board then.  You doubled down on player "power" and account level, neither of which have anything to do with the power of a team you can field in the arena.  There is a measurment of the power of a team in the arena... your arena record!  What's more, Gold 4 used to be part of standard progression.  The game designers believed accounts should be at that stage when they could auto the dungeons on level 20.  That is so laughibly easier than climbing past the glut of teams in gold right now.  Perhaps go back and discuss things with the people who originally designed the game and the progress missions to see if they thought that half the teams in upper silver would have Arbiter leads.
