I went and used my sacred shard anyway costing 100k which worked yet my total stayed at 10,200. To test my theory of a display glitch I took a photo then ran a 10x summons with mystery shards twice and noted only 100-200 difference in the totals. After which It told me i had no resources left (may refer to only having 5 Mystery shards left) however my total is still sitting just above 10k
